1. I practice kickboxing as an amateur, which I really enjoy because it challenges me in a completely different way.
2. I’m also an actress, which is a big part of my creative life.
3. And every morning, before getting out of bed, I write. It’s a quiet ritual that helps me put my thoughts and ideas on paper before starting the day.

— Share a bit about your background and upbringing.
I’m of Brazilian heritage but was born and raised in France. I’ve always been extremely close to my parents, who have supported me through every stage of my life. Their unconditional support has shaped who I am today. Now, being able to take care of them and give back means a lot to me.

— What advice would you give to models who are considering entering the modeling industry later in life? Are there any key lessons or insights you wish you had known earlier in your career?
Don’t let age decide what’s possible for you. Returning to modeling later in life has given me a stronger 1 sense of who I am and more confidence in my choices. You don’t have to fit every box or be right for everyone. Rejection is part of the industry, but it doesn’t define your value. Sometimes, what makes you different, like your age, your experience, or your story, is exactly what makes you interesting.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
My friends loveeeeeee to tell the story of how we first met, as it usually involves me being outrageously extroverted. One of my best friends never lets me forget that I ran up to her at the ripe age of 13 as she got out of the car for the first day at her new school. I said, “Hi, I’m Kelsea, and we are going to be friends.” Thinking back on it, I can see why she may have thought I was a little strange; however, I wasn’t wrong!!!

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
I am passionate about sustainability in all senses. I am also very passionate about being there for others. You never know how much one small gesture can help another person.

— How did you become a model?
It’s actually a funny story. The opportunity first came up two years ago in Paris, but I turned it down back then. It wasn’t until this year, when the chance presented itself again at a concert in Madrid, that I decided to give this new experience a try.

— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
My favorite book is A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. It holds a special place for me because it opened my eyes to a completely different way of understanding the world and viewing oneself.

— Tell us about your hometown.
My hometown is Alcoy, in Alicante—a small city surrounded by mountains. Even though it doesn’t have big stores or major entertainment spots, being so close to nature taught me to respect it and helped me develop a deep bond with the outdoors while growing up.
