That I am an immigrant. I lived in Cairo, Egypt, until I was 10 years old, then moved to NYC and have lived here since. I love and cherish both.

— What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
Alone time. Definitely. I feel like it’s the only way to properly digest anything that happens in your life and learn, away from noise and distractions.

— Share a bit about your background and upbringing.
I grew up in a small village outside Ulaanbaatar. I am the only child in my family. I spent a lot of my childhood outdoors, playing tag with my neighborhood kids, and later moved to Poland to study.

— What’s one non-physical thing you’d like to change about yourself?
I want to learn how to wake up in the morning without feeling like a car pulled from a junkyard.

— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
My favorite book is Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury. Whenever I read it, I feel very comfortable and peaceful. It reminds me of childhood and makes me appreciate the little things in life – summer days, family, memories, and simple moments that we often don’t notice when we grow up. I love how Bradbury makes ordinary moments feel almost magical. Another book I really love is Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris. I really enjoy her writing style, and the story captivated me more than almost any other book I’ve read. I also love the way the story shows that things we try to keep hidden eventually come to light, something I completely agree with.

— Can you tell us about your happiest childhood memory?
Some of my happiest childhood memories are connected to the village where my grandparents lived. They passed away many years ago, so those memories are especially precious to me now. Every summer, our whole family went there, and the atmosphere was simply magical. There was soft, beautiful grass in the yard, a river near the house, and fields stretching all around us. We had several huge walnut trees, raspberries, mulberries, and the most delicious apricots I have ever tasted. In the evenings, my grandmother would go to our neighbor and buy fresh homemade milk from her cow. We were also getting honey from another neighbor. Then we were all sitting together in the kitchen, watching the sunset, and drinking warm milk with fresh bread and honey. It sounds very simple, but I think that is exactly why I remember it so vividly. Everything felt peaceful, warm, and safe. Those evenings made me feel incredibly happy, and whenever I think about my childhood, this is one of the first memories that comes to my mind.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I absolutely love people! I am a super talkative and friendly person, so when I meet new people, they always think I am 100% extrovert, and I am always around someone. But the most valuable and reliable thing I have is my time alone with myself. The safest place for me is my own world full of different thoughts and dreams. I am always up to spend time with my friends, but 90% of my free time I prefer to spend alone.

— If money wasn’t an obstacle, what would you be doing with your life?
I want to keep trying and learning new things, meet new people, and experience more of the world. I’ve seen news about commercial space tourism. Some people get to ride a rocket up to the edge of the atmosphere and look down at planet Earth. That sounds so amazing.

— Share a bit about your background and upbringing.
I was born into a sports‑oriented family. I practiced various sports from childhood, ranging from track and field to basketball. I graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China. I was a basketball player during college and have always been passionate about sports. My old dream was to compete in the Olympics. However, it was extremely challenging for me to make it to the Olympics in women’s basketball. After graduation, I took part in a modeling competition and started my modeling career.

— What do you hope to see change or improve within the fashion industry in the future?
I hope the fashion industry can become more diverse and inclusive, and break free from narrow‑minded single‑standard beauty ideals. More opportunities should be given to models of all ages, looks, skin tones, heights, and body shapes. After all, clothing is meant to serve people, and our world is made up of all kinds of individuals.
