— Share a bit about your background and upbringing.
I’m from Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands in Spain. I’m the fourth of 4 siblings. I’ve grown up in a family of teachers, and I became a teacher as well. I teach English at a secondary school for adults, where I’m the Principal, and I try to combine it with modeling. I’ve had a rich training and education in a variety of areas: foreign languages, I’m fluent in English and can speak a little French and German, I’ve practiced classical ballet, acting, yoga, creative and literary writing… I had a fantastic childhood and a tranquil and full life with its ups and downs. I live with my husband and two sons in Tenerife.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I consider myself a big friend of my friends and a person whom you can always count on. I’m there when they need me.
2. I am very interested in culture. I’m curious, restless, and inquisitive about things around me. I love going further into those aspects of life that spark some interest in me.
3. I love acting, and I’ve trained in acting. I’d love to have experience in dubbing and voiceover work. I love reading out loud to others.

— If money wasn’t an obstacle, what would you be doing with your life?
I would live where I live, in the same place and in the same house. If I didn’t have to work anymore, I would do what I cannot do nowadays because of the lack of time: I would travel sometimes, I would teach as a volunteer, I would love to have time to read aloud to people who cannot read, I would practice more yoga… ultimately, I would dedicate time to take care of my loved ones and of myself.

— How did you become a model?
I was working as a waiter at a Massimo Dutti event when a scout approached me and suggested I try modeling. It was completely unexpected, but it turned out to be a life-changing opportunity that opened the door to a new career.

— What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?
The scariest thing I’ve ever done was jumping from a 20-meter cliff into the sea. I remember standing at the edge for what felt like forever before finally taking the leap. It was terrifying but also incredibly exciting.

— Can you tell us about your happiest childhood memory?
One of my happiest childhood memories is the day my little sister was born. I was so excited to meet her, and it completely changed our family. It’s a moment I’ll always remember with a lot of love.

— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
My favorite TV show of all time is probably a TV show called Fringe. I am a massive sci-fi nerd, and I don’t think there is a single sci-fi topic that Fringe doesn’t cover. From superpowers to alternate realities to time travel to aliens, it has it all, and for that, it holds a very special place in my heart.

— How did you become a model?
I was scouted at Disneyland. I was walking out of the tiki room when some guy came up to me, handed me his business card, and told me if I ever thought about being a model, I should give him a call. I was honestly a little suspicious at first, but I gave him a call, and it all worked out from there.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
When I was about 7 or 8 years old, I went to a BBQ restaurant with my family, and when the waiter came around to take our orders, I very seriously asked him what was in their bacon-wrapped shrimp. I still have not lived that down to this day.

— What is your biggest irrational fear?
My biggest irrational fear is driving. Even though I was one of the best students in driving school, I still try to avoid driving whenever I can.

— Tell us about your hometown.
I grew up in a small village called Kolačno, surrounded by beautiful forests. Everyone knows everyone there, which can sometimes be a disadvantage. At the same time, it’s incredibly peaceful and quiet. I currently live in the capital city of Slovakia, but I always look forward to going back to the place that feels the calmest and most peaceful to me. It’s completely normal to see a deer running by with its baby while walking near the forest. The whole place feels truly magical to me.

— How did you become a model?
I was 18 when I went to buy tulips at a flower shop. A modeling scout approached me and asked if I had ever considered trying modeling. Before that, I had already been stopped a few times by scouts from different agencies in Slovakia, so I decided to give it a chance.
