— What are 3 interesting facts about you?
1. I love horses very much, but I’m allergic to them.
2. Since childhood, I’ve been able to skate, roller skate, and do other activities.
3. Almost all of my childhood, I was friends only with boys. I loved dressing like a boy and hated dolls and dresses. Only as I grew older did I start becoming friends with girls

— Tell us about your hometown.
I’m from Odessa, a city with a unique atmosphere. There are many old buildings, interesting streets, and notable spots. Old songs are often played on the streets, and fairs are regularly held. One of the city’s symbols is the Potemkin Stairs, and Odessa is also known for its sense of humor, with the annual ‘Humorina’ festival attracting many visitors.

— How did you become a model?
I’ve admired models since childhood. I remember the first time I saw a fashion show on TV at the age of 6, and I was mesmerized. Over time, people around me began to notice something in me. In my hometown, I tried to join a modeling school, but I never thought I would become a professional model. After moving to Bulgaria, a scout noticed me on social media, which led me to meet with some agencies; however it didn’t work out with them. Then, one day, a friend of mine accidentally recommended Inter Models – my (now) mother agency, and everything started happening very quickly.

— What are 3 interesting facts about you?
1. I’m a painter! I’ve been oil painting since I was 11 years old and it’s the thing that I’m best at.
2. I just had my first solo exhibition at Giovanni’s Room in Los Angeles this past November. The show was called “Fifth Quarter” and featured large scale, figurative, surrealist oil paintings.
3. I grew up as a very dedicated ballet dancer. I performed in the Nutcracker every year, and my first time in NY was for the School of American Ballet Summer Intensive when I was 13. I love that modeling allows me to perform and connect with my body in a similar way, thinking about lines, creating shapes, and playing a character.

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
Creating community or a “third place” for artists. It’s important to connect with other people who are engaged and making things outside of a professional/work context. I started a weekly pool/billiards tournament for painters last year in Los Angeles called Painter’s Pool– the only rule is you have to be a painter OR bring a painter. We play doubles, bar pool rules/ball in hand, and you’re always paired with a stranger, a new friend… I’ve since moved back to NY, where I’ve continued the tournament, and it’s been so sweet to see artists supporting each other… and becoming pool sharks, of course.

— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
I’m so lucky to live in New York, where, on any given night, there’s a theatre playing a movie worth watching… Right now, a handful of my favorites are Laura (1944), Being There (1979), Wings of Desire (1987), Laurel Canyon (2002), and Birth (2004). My paintings have a theatrical or cinematic feel– I’m often inspired by poses and compositions from movies, studying stills when photographing reference images for my paintings.

One of my happiest childhood memories is when my dad moved in with us. I remember a sunny Saturday when he took us to the park. We packed a picnic, and he helped me ride my bike without training wheels. I was nervous, but he cheered me on. When I finally rode on my own, I felt so free and happy. We spent the day playing games and enjoying time together. It was a special day filled with love and laughter.

— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
One of my favorite movies is “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.” I love it because it beautifully captures the struggles of growing up, dealing with mental health, and finding your place in the world. The characters are relatable, and their journeys resonate with many of the challenges teenagers face. The themes of friendship, love, and self-discovery are portrayed in such an authentic way that it really makes you think about your own experiences. Plus, the soundtrack is amazing and adds to the overall vibe of the film!
