1. I’m a twin.
2. My goal is ARMANIFORARMANI.
3. My favourite food is oxtail and poutine.
— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
I’m incredibly passionate about black youth having equal opportunities and having their voice represented at tables, industries, and groups where they’ve never been fully heard. I ran my school’s Black Student Association for two years, securing permanent funding for all BSAs at 15 different high schools, mandatory DEI training for all staff in the school board, implementation of diverse and black literature in teachings, and so much more. In the face of adversity, I worked with students and staff to accomplish so much and left a lasting impact on the school community.
— The most interesting thing about your family:
I have fifteen siblings in Canada, the US, and Jamaica. We have TWO sets of twins among all my siblings.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
My mom loves to tell everyone about how, when she gave birth to me, I came out babbling and talking. She said I sounded like a little mouse, but that’s just proof that I was really born a yapper.
— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I don’t think people know how unserious I am in person.
— Tell us about your hometown.
My hometown is Baton Rouge, Louisiana! 225! We got the best music, best food, but the worst traffic, and the worst hurricane flooding.

— If money wasn’t an obstacle, what would you be doing with your life?
I would work towards finding better treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Alzheimer’s.
— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
When I was younger, we went to the Galapagos Islands, and I really wanted to photograph the wildlife there, especially a red-footed booby bird (I’m not sure why I became so fixated on this). On every island, we would look for it, and on the last day of the trip, everyone agreed to have the boat go from place to place in search of the bird. Finally, the last island we went to had one, much to the relief of everyone. The photo is still one of my favorite pictures.
— What are 3 interesting facts about you?
1. I am half Indian and half Vietnamese (but I don’t like spicy food!)
2. I am a tennis coach, and I especially love coaching little kids because they are always so happy and enthusiastic – even when we’re collecting all the balls at the end, or as I like to call them, marshmallows.
3. I want to study Biomedical Science in the future.

— How did you become a model?
My mom took me to my first casting at 9 years old, just for fun! We never expected it to be the start of my career! I ended up modeling for that local boutique for a few years before getting scouted on Instagram at 14. My dad used to model, so I was excited to follow in his footsteps.
— Share a bit about your background and upbringing.
I am from St.Maarten – a beautiful island split between The French and The Dutch. I was born in Texas, but it never truly felt like “home” to me. The culture I resonated with most was the paradise my parents often described, and I was fortunate enough to visit frequently. My mom is English/Trinidadian, and my Dad is Dutch/St. Maartener. Being a multicultural kid in a small southern town wasn’t the easiest. I was homeschooled throughout my childhood, which I’m so thankful for because it gave me independence and the space to develop my sense of self from an early age.
— What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
An essential part of my daily routine is to move my body~ it’s how I reconnect with myself. Whether it’s stretching, dancing, or simply flowing with my breath, it allows me to release. Our bodies hold so much tension, especially in the hips – so I just dance it away :)

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
On November 13th of 2017, I was robbed at gunpoint and shot 3 times. I had severe nerve damage in my left arm and had to relearn to use my left arm and hand with physical therapy. I had reconstructed surgery on my left ear, and my left eye was surgically removed due to the pressure of the bullet damaging my eye.
— What are 3 interesting facts about you?
1. My birthday is December 25th, Christmas Day.
2. I make and sell custom grillz (teeth jewelry) at “Zero Below Grillz.”
3. I roller skate backward better than I roller skate forward.
— How did you become a model?
I first became interested in becoming a model after hearing from people I knew that I had a look for it; however, none of them had the answers to how to get started. I later came across a modeling company that was interested in signing me, but it came with an expensive fee to take professional photos with their photographer, which, at the time, my parents could not afford. After failed attempts to figure it out, I met a good friend who was a photographer at the time, and he wanted to take pictures of me for a denim series project he was working on. My confidence grew as a model after seeing myself in a way I never had before and the reactions I got on social media; however, I still lacked confidence in certain areas. After losing my left eye, I thought my chances at becoming a model were completely over, but I believe it wasn’t until I lost my left eye that I was able to become the model I am today. No prosthetic eye, no eye patch.

— How did you become a model?
I was working as an operations manager at Hans im Glück, a major German restaurant chain. One day, my mother agency came to eat at the restaurant—they had just moved into their new office right across from us. After their meal, they approached me and asked if I was interested in modeling. They showed me their work with other models, and that’s how my journey began.
— If you were to choose a song that symbolizes this current phase of your life, what would it be and why?
I would choose “Changes” by 2Pac. This song speaks about change and the drive to carve your own path, even when it’s difficult. It fits well with the feeling of creating something new and breaking free from the expectations of the past to shape your own future.
— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
I can’t pick just one specific show or movie. If I had to choose, I’d simply say the anime genre. I grew up watching a series of anime like Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Naruto. These shows taught me a lot of values that I try to live by—like honoring your parents, the importance of friendships and taking care of them, and much more.
