— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
I just finished a book written by graffiti writer Sluto, documenting his journey across America via train hopping. I love it because I always wanted to go across the country and have an adventure like that.
— Tell us about your hometown.
Until now, I have lived my whole life in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It’s beautiful there. I have amazing memories like freight hopping, skating with my friends, climbing billboards, petting cows, exploring fields, cemeteries, and the river. I’ve done everything to do there really. Lancaster City has a good community of people, too, like the people at EsoArts. The worst thing about Lancaster is that it’s boring, and there are rude Amish people and rednecks everywhere. I had to make my own fun.
— If money wasn’t an obstacle, what would you be doing with your life?
I’d probably be doing the things I am doing when I’m not working. Things like making music, photography, making art and exploring, but I’d be doing them full time. I would explore the world. I would also be friends with Robert Smith and Jello Biafra.

— If money wasn’t an obstacle, what would you be doing with your life?
Helping people: Whenever I have a coin, I like to help those who need it most because I was educated that way. I don’t do it to receive something in return; I do it because I like to see other people’s happiness.
— If you were to choose a song that symbolizes this current phase of your life, what would it be and why?
I would choose the song I listen to most at the moment: “Não é possível” by the singer Toy Toy T-rex. It’s a Portuguese song, and I chose it because the singer talks about the good times he has in life, and I like that.

— What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
Singing made up songs about my dog to my dog and then apologizing to him for being out of rhythm.
— How did you become a model?
On the day of my 17th birthday, I sat in a café with a friend, and a photographer came up to me and asked me if I wanted to shoot an editorial with him. I wasn’t wearing any makeup and didn’t feel pretty at all… still, I was interested in having my first photo shoot and brought a friend with me in case it was fake. After that, I tried to get signed with an agency, but they all wanted me to lose weight and change my appearance. After months and months, I found an agency that allowed me to stay true to myself and my size. That’s how I became a model.
