— Tell us about your hometown.
I’m from Cachoeiras de Macacu, a city in the countryside of Rio de Janeiro. It’s so calm and nice, there’s a lot of nature, the places are usually always near and easy to get to, everyone knows each other. What can be bad is that if I want to go to the movies or buy specific clothes I have to travel to other cities.
— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
In my country unfortunately is common to see children suffering from food deprivation, without propper health care and housing, exposed to violence and abuse, with no stability in life. As they are the most vulnerable individuals, because they can’t protect themselves, child protection is a cause I’m very passionate about.
— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
My favorite movie is The Princess and The Frog. Since I was I child I always liked the story and identified as Tiana. Also, the relation the movie makes with food struck me, because in my family cooking for someone has always been a gesture of affection.

I was scouted online but never ended up trying to become a model because I knew nothing about the industry and thought it was a scam!! I was scouted a few more times and I ended up submitting to agencies in Vancouver after really enjoying walking in small fashion shows I joined for fun. This was how I found my mother agency and I have just started to travel internationally after graduating from university with my Bachelors degree.

I was very happy, we bought ice cream from the market, and we were chasing each other and playing games. After the park, we went to my favorite playground and rode the bumper cars. He bought me a bird that flapped its wings from the toy store. At that moment, I closed my eyes and said I promised myself not to forget that moment.

— Tell us about your hometown.
My hometown is Kyoto. The best thing about Kyoto is that it is prosperous, but also has a rich natural environment, and you can feel Japanese culture up close. Kyoto is also recommended as a date spot. The worst thing about Kyoto is that it is too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, and restaurants close too early.
— If you were to choose a song that symbolizes this current phase of your life, what would it be and why?
“Kemonoyuku Hosomiti (The Narrow Way)” by Shina Ringo and Miyamoto Koji. I feel frustrated and have a lot of worries right now, but every time I listen to this song, I think to myself that life is too short to waste time on thinking such things, so I’m going to use my precious life on the fullest. This song motivates me that it’s up to me to create my own life.
