Being stuck in a car with a spider on the dashboard.

— Tell us about your hometown.
I originally come from Plettenberg Bay, a small town in the Garden Route. The best thing about Plett is its amazing beaches, but unfortunately, the worst thing about it is how busy it can get during season, causing traffic to fill up the entire town.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
Most people find it interesting how I love to play PC games. I come across as quite the girly girl type but have a completely different side to me as well.

I love Davido’s energetic performances and his ability to create catchy tunes that make you want to dance! His music has a great vibe that always puts me in a good mood. And he’s kind and generous to people.

— What weird or useless talent do you have?
Talking, sometimes just want to talk and talk 😂

— How did you become a model?
I applied to my mother agency, Le Troch, on Instagram. They were interested in building my career, and the journey has been so good.

Dongeun

Who:
Dongeun Kim (@thiskillin) — 185 cm / 6’1″ — South Korean from Gumi, South Korea — born September 22nd — he/him.

Where:
MC Barnes (London – mother agency)

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I can go anywhere as long as I have work
2. When I walk around normally, I walk like I’m walking on the show stage.
3. The place where I was born and raised is Korea, but after graduating from high school, I spent more time abroad than I spent in Korea

— How did you become a model?
I was actually going to study fashion design in Australia. Korean men must serve in the military. While in the army, I read a lot of books and studied fashion design. After I was discharged from the military, I visited London because I was curious about how Europeans study fashion. I met a friend there who was looking for an Asian who was over 185 cm (6’1) tall, and I worked with him. I had a change of heart after the shoot. That’s how I started modeling, and I was scouted by my mother agency, MC Barnes.

— Who is your favorite entertainer?
I’m a huge fan of Tyler, the Creator, because listening to music is a part of my life, and I like colorful clothes and that he makes music. He’s got his own clothing brand that I like. He is so versatile; I hold him in respect

Jordan Daniel (@jordannielh) — 187 cm / 6’1.5″ — Indonesian from Jakarta, Indonesia — born April 27th — he/him.

Where:
Future Models Indonesia (Jakarta – mother agency)

— Tell us about your hometown.
I have lived my entire life in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia; the best thing is how diverse people are here, and it’s so weird (in a good way) that you can find trends, cultures, and behaviors that are completely different in each part of the areas in Jakarta. The worst thing is Jakarta is a very small city with the largest population in Indonesia, so we spend most of our time in traffic jams.

— The most interesting thing about your family:
My family is very supportive of each other; my father supports every decision I make, my mom attends every fashion show I walk, and my brother accompanies me wherever I go.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I have a coffee stand that I established, but I only work if I have time outside modeling jobs.
2. I used to go to clubs not to party but to learn how to dance, eventually I also learned to be a DJ, so now I also do DJ once a week.
3. I spend 3-4 hours at the gym, not because I like going to the gym but because I’m bored when I don’t have any work.

3. I’ve always been interested in making clothes, and recently, I’ve started to learn and delve more deeply into the subject; I hope to be making my own clothes one day.

— The most interesting thing about your family:
My grandmother is Greek, and she came to Brazil by boat at the age of 5 with her parents and siblings just after the Second World War. It was in São Paulo that she built her family and had her children, and she never went back to her country of origin. It’s been 71 years since they came to Brazil.

My mother. She’s a person who always makes everyone happy and she’s a very strong and wonderful woman; I don’t have the words to describe how incredible, important, and special she is to me.
