— Tell us about your hometown.
My hometown is in a small village in Himachal Pradesh. The purity and nature of my hometown is otherworldly. What I don’t like is that it’s really difficult to get there.

— How did you become a model?
So, I am a design student, and a lot of my college friends have asked me to try modeling because of my height. I slowly started building an interest in it and tried it at an agency, and it really worked.

— The most interesting thing about your family:
Everyone in my family except for my mom wanted to be a model at some point in time.

— What’s the last thing you Googled?
The last thing I googled was “carnegenuina.it”. Obviously, as a good Italian, it is always important to stay informed and know what you are eating. Last night, in fact, I was having dinner with friends, and what better occasion than this to start a lively discussion on different types of meat? After entertaining the whole restaurant with our animated screams, to dispel any doubt, we did a little research. Fortunately, the choice of wine was simpler because, as we Italians know, in addition to being great food lovers, we never say no to a glass of good wine.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. Differently from many young people my age, years ago, during high school, I was passionate about art. I had the opportunity to study it and immerse myself in this world, admiring many artistic styles, including impressionism, which is one of my favorites. I maintained this passion, and I had the opportunity to discover and admire art all over the world.
2. Another of my passions is traveling, but in particular, I love to organize my trips in detail with engaging itineraries. I choose each place with precision, and obviously, as a good Italian, I seek out the best places and restaurants where I can enjoy the local cuisine.
3. One interesting fact about myself is that I believe in the horoscope. My sign is very particular, and, for me, it determines my character. My sign, Gemini, makes me moody, sometimes a little too touchy, and often impulsive. Believing in the horoscope, I would say that it is not so much my fault but my sign’s influence.

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
One of the causes and problems that I am very close to is violence against animals, and unfortunately, these days, they don’t have protection in the laws. We should realize how much man exploits and humiliates animals for aesthetic reasons or for simple fun. We should think about how many animals are killed to make clothing, which I often wear during my work. We should also consider how much they can suffer when they are separated from their natural habitat and dragged into zoos or a circus for entertainment. I don’t think it’s right for animals to suffer, to be humiliated, and abused.

I posted my selfie on social media, Little Red Book, and was contacted by a model scout.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I enjoy volunteer activities. I have worked as a lecturer for my hometown museum and organized many volunteer activities as an organizer.
2. I study food science and statistics, and I have interned at Yale University to study gene methylation.
3. I have been studying the guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument, for nearly ten years, and I often participated in performances when I was young.
