— How did you become a model?
I was scouted together with my sister on instagram. My mother agent wrote a really funny message to my sister explaining he didn’t write both of us because he didn’t want to seem like a scammer.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I love learning the meaning of names, be it names of people or anything else. Contrarily I’m also quite bad with remembering them, I just tend to remember what the general meaning of their name was.
2. I used to fight with boys a lot when I was in primary school, like properly with punches thrown and hair pulled. I don’t do that anymore though.

I was moving places quite a lot with my family. I think it’s about 10 times to this day now I have moved. We left Germany and moved to Spain when I was pretty young. My little sister and I had a great time growing up there – our bond has gotten so strong because in the end with every move we took it was always us two in the end.

When I was 5 years old my family and I went to a mall were a clown made these figures out of balloons. I wasn’t quite satisfied with the sword he made me so I just made a poodle out of it and no one believed me I made it myself.

Visionary fictions. How we, who are LGBTQ+ beings, can create with imagery new forms of affection and happiness to be shared with the world. It’s not about violence and pain, it’s about love and freedom.

— Who is someone you admire and why?
My mother. For being an indigenous single mother who with all the strength in the world supported me and tried to have the generous grace to understand me in all my phases. For showing me an almost inhuman strength to surpass the difficulties of our country.

People Agency (Melbourne – mother agency), Independent Model Management (Milan), The Squad (London)

— How did you become a model?
I was having dinner in a dumpling place with a friend in Melbourne’s CBD before we headed off to see a concert. Spencer (My lovely agent) approached me and introduced herself and was like “hey have you ever considered modelling”. It’s definitely a ‘fate’ type situation as I’d said to a few friends before my trip to Melbourne “oh when I get back from this weekend away, I’m gonna take some headshots and look into this modelling thing!” So, I think it was meant to be. The most random, inconspicuous place to be approached but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

— Who is your favorite entertainer?
I’m really into Ethel Cain at the moment! She’s this really strong storyteller, and all the music she puts out creates this overarching dark story. She’s created one of my favourite albums of all time. She’s also just been part of the Miu Miu LIVE FW23 campaign, and I think that’s so cool. Having the versatility to be a niche musical artist, but also be part of some major high fashion moments.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
Although I have this weird mish-mash accent, apparently some people are surprised to find out that I was born (and spent half my life) in the south of England. It surprises me because a lot the words I say still sound SO British, and I most definitely don’t have a proper Australian accent, even after seven years. I’ve also recently had a lot of people asking me at work whether I’m Scandinavian? I think it’s the blonde hair / blonde eyebrows thing, but people are genuinely surprised when I tell them no!
