— Who is someone you admire and why?
The person I admire most, I think, is my grandfather Francesco. Unfortunately, during COVID, he passed away. I’ve had so many good times with him, and he’s always been my mentor. Since I was little, I loved to ask him about his story and his family– he was the youngest of seven brothers, and he was born in the period immediately after the war, so he lived in difficult conditions. Despite this, he managed to always reach his goals, like opening his company and getting everyone to love him.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I played football in a professional team until I was seventeen. I stopped playing during covid because I thought I couldn’t live off it in the future, and I spent around three hours a day playing football, so I decided to stop and focus on school.

2. I love cooking for myself and friends. I started cooking alone when I was around twelve years old. Obviously, at the beginning, the results weren’t very good, but now I consider myself a decent cook.

3. I also love to travel. As soon as I have the opportunity, I try to exploit it. I truly believe it is the best personal investment that everyone can make.

— The most interesting thing about your family:

Even though my last name sounds like I’m completely Italian, actually, the only Italian relative that I have is my grandfather. In fact, my mother is Lithuanian, while my dad was born in Germany because my grandmother is German. Of course, I feel Italian because I was born there and I have lived all my life in Italy, but it’s really nice being a mix of different cultures.

— How did you become a model?
I was looking for something to do this summer, and that was when I got the idea to try modeling. I told myself it wouldn’t hurt to try. So I sent my digitals to my current agency’s email address. I checked my email several minutes later and saw the notification from the agency. I immediately felt this surge of excitement and then told my family about it.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?

My high school friends like to remind me of my lip balm phase, where I would bring several lip balms to school. I remember I had about 18 lip balms at that time on display. I hated having chapped lips, so that was the solution.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. Ever since my sophomore year of high school, I’ve started to like math. I like how challenging it is and the feeling of solving those problems. That’s why I picked computer science as my major.
2. I’ve been dancing since I was 6, and although my skills are subpar, dancing has become an integral part of my self-expression.
3. I know the lyrics to most of Taylor Swift’s songs
.

— What are you super interested in that most people have never heard of?
Insects. Beetles and stag beetles. I am from the real countryside, and I used to catch insects all the time. I know which trees have many insects.

— The most interesting thing about your family:
My dog at home hates me and won’t stop barking at me. I actually like cats better, but I’m allergic to cats, so I can’t touch them…

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I can work harder than anyone. Like, I can run 40km.
2. I never get angry, even when other people can’t make the time and I have to wait long hours for them.
3. I want to challenge anything new. I love eating food I’ve never tried before.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I used to be a very shy kid, but I hated it. I watched Pirates of the Caribbean at a very young age and wanted to be Elisabeth Swan (or maybe wanted to be with her!) Anyways, I trained myself from the age of 5/6 to force myself out of my comfort zone. People assume I’m an extrovert, but if you pay attention (please don’t), you can see me blushing more often than I’d like to admit.

— How did you become a model?
In my final year of college, I had everything lined up: amazing internships with good grades and a contract for a well-paid job in the city. Everything my mother wanted. But I was 22, ready to experience life and see the world, which was never offered to me by my parents. So, when the girl I was dating (briefly, oopsie) insisted on sending some Polaroids to certain agencies, I thought: ‘fuck it, why the hell not?’ Thanks, babes, my MA owes you a drink xxx.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
When I was 4 years old, we learned about hibernation. In Dutch, this is called ‘winterslaap,’ so literally translates to winter sleep. That week, I found a dead mouse–living on a farm, we had about a dozen cats roaming around. 4 year old me was convinced this carcass was sleeping, so I made it a little house out of an empty shoebox. I added water and bread and even made a bed out of cotton pads. Before I put the mouse in, I, of course, stabbed holes in the shoebox so he could breathe. Who gave a 4-year-old scissors? Don’t ask me! I kept this box under my bed and stroked that little (dead) mouse every day, thinking it was gonna wake up. Until my mother started complaining about a smell… She kept asking me if I had food in my room, and I very confidently said no. She searched my room, found the box, screamed at me, and asked me why I had a dead mouse under my bed. I started crying that it would wake up and that the cats couldn’t hurt him… let’s just say my mother never looked at shoeboxes the same. And I don’t even like mice now?!

— If you could talk to your younger self, what advice would you give?
Don’t listen to the opinion of others! You are great the way you are, and it’s okay to be yourself. One day you’ll become the person you dream of being, and it will be sooner than you think. Also, you will be living in Berlin and finally move out of the small town that you dislike so much.

— How did you become a model?
As soon as I moved to Berlin, everybody I met encouraged me to model. At first, I was hesitant, but after I finally had my gender reassigning operation, I felt 100% confident in my body and was ready for the task. Luckily, I quickly found Mega, who support me greatly.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. Golfing is my passion; I try to play whenever I can.
2. My hometown is a small village located in the German countryside.
3. I love playing the piano.
