— How did you become a model?
I was originally scouted in Paris, France while studying abroad. I remember being completely shocked that someone had actually considered me model material, seeing that I look like an eyebrow-less child. After graduating, I got scouted a few more times on Instagram while working a hodgepodge of jobs, including a short stint as a preschool teacher (although we don’t talk about that). This really made me think that getting scouted once wasn’t just a fluke and that maybe modeling might just be the thing for me. So, a few months ago, I applied to a few agencies and ended up signing with the most amazing mother agency, Divide Management. And just last week, I signed with Fusion Model Management. Needless to say, I am very excited for what the future holds. Goodbye Nebraska, hello New York City!

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I have a literal cornfield in my backyard.
2. I have a severe obsession with Hidden Valley Ranch. My ranch obsession is so drastic that I legitimately packed a bottle in my suitcase when studying abroad because a friend had warned me that ranch was not a thing in the U.K.
3. Baby Shark is my favorite song of all time, and I listen to it at least once a day.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
Considering I don’t look a day over twelve, I think people might be surprised that I have both a bachelor’s degree in English & Creative Writing and a substitute teaching license.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I can mimic various voices, such as animals, baby talk, and various characters in vocal expressions. My ability to mimic the sounds and vocalizations of cats (such as their meows, purrs, or other feline noises) attracts cats to me. Furthermore, it arouses their playfulness and affection when hearing my voice. It always works on my cats!

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I’m an animal lover. My childhood was full of various animals, such as dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and turtles. It made me get used to living with pets, which led me to rescue two stray cats from the street, who have been living with me for the past five years. I have deep connection with these furry creatures, which gives me joy when feeding them and ensuring they have enough food to eat. I carry cat food in my bag most of the time, thus enabling me to feed stray cats in need whenever I go out.
2. I’m an agile person. I love to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. Becoming a model is a long-lost dream that I have decided to pursue.
3. I enjoy outdoor activities. I love nature, plants, flowers, mountains, and beaches. I feel calm whenever I go into nature, like hiking, which gives me calmness and serenity.

— Who is someone you admire and why?
If a person can reach heaven, it will be my grandmother. I have looked up to her all my life. She always asks me, “Are you happy?” which I found to be a profound question. In my surroundings, how people see you is mostly based on culture, religion, or race, which influences how we do things daily. It’s very rare for a person to genuinely ask about how you feel as an individual. Most of the time, we think about what we want, but what matters is what we need, and my grandmother always thinks about it thoroughly.

— Who is someone you admire and why?
My big brother. He has inspired me since I was little; I listened to the same music as him, practiced the same sport as him, and wore his clothes when they were too small. I think he’s the one who gave me this obsession with sneakers!

— How did you become a model?
I met my mother agency @scoutingsection, who found me on Instagram and offered me the opportunity to do it. My family and my friends encouraged me to accept it. Without them, I may not be living this adventure!

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
Once, my grandfather took me on his birthday on a road trip – he works as a driver. We got stuck in the middle of nowhere. It was snowing, it took ages to wait for help, and I was very scared. Suddenly, we heard my grandmother’s voice on the radio. She was sending her love and best birthday wishes to my grandfather. While listening to her, I looked around and saw some wooden branches, and I got the idea to use them to get out. And it worked! It was like a miracle to us.

— The most interesting thing about your family:
I have a brother who has been disabled since he was born. He is the most positive person ever. He loves life, and a smile is always on his face. When we were kids, I stayed a lot with him – we couldn’t walk, so we had to stay in. Now he is mostly home alone. My dream is to show him the world and help him to feel like an ordinary person always.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. When I was 7, I was writing poems. When my father found them, I was so ashamed that I stopped writing. My first model trip was so inspiring that now I am writing poetry again. On top of this, I realized I love singing.
2. I am learning economics, Chinese, and exchange trading
3. Faith, love and hope – that’s my motto.
