Eashna

Who:
Eashna Bhambri (@eashna.bhambri) — 173 cm / 5’8.5″ — Indian from New Delhi, India — born October 25th — she/her.

Where:
Blunt Creative Management (New Delhi – mother agency), Muse Management (New York), Premier Model Management (London)

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
A cause I’m passionate about is the global public image of India. I believe that with the platform and opportunities that I have been given, I represent my country everywhere I travel and also get to clear certain misconceptions that people tend to have about India. Another really important cause that I am extremely passionate about is gender equality–I truly believe that it is the only way we as a society can prosper and avoid violence.

— What’s your most prized possession and why?
My most prized possession has to be this moon-shaped necklace that I wear at all times because it has strands from my late dog’s coat of hair. Wearing it gives me a sense of comfort and makes me feel closer to him.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I think something people might be surprised to hear about me is that I was always academically inclined and always aimed to have a more secure and stable job. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d have a career in modeling.

Finn

Who:
Finn O’Farrell (@finns.fate) — 190 cm / 6’3″ — Canadian from Toronto, Canada — born August 19th — he/him.

Where:

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
Many people ask if I’m pursuing a degree in fashion or traditional arts, which I can’t blame them for presuming, but I’m double Majoring in Economics and Psychology, minoring in Philosophy at McGill University.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I can land fakie hardflips, but I cannot land front shuvs; I love skateboarding. For me, it’s a way to disconnect from the stresses of daily routine, just skating with a few homies in an empty parking lot or skating solo around Montreal with blasting music in headphones. Skating was a gateway into fashion for me, so it feels like I have some roots in that community.
2. I’m working on a clothing brand with my homie: I’ve been working on a brand with my best friend, Sasha. It has been a lot as we are both full-time in university, but any spare time has been spent working on experimenting with garments. It also re-connected me with digital media creation; making promotional videos and creating websites from scratch are things I’ve never pursued to such depth before, so I appreciate the challenge and pressure.
3. I’ve been conceptualizing my own manga for the past two years. I decided over the initial Covid-19 lockdowns I would pick up drawing as it’s something I always enjoyed as a kid. It eventually led me down a rabbit hole of reading tons of manga which deeply affected me. I feel obligated to give back to the community in my own way, so I’ve been jotting down story concepts, character designs, and themes I’d like to bring light to. Some of my personal favorites are Nana, Vagabond, and Berserk.

— One thing you never want to do again:
Fall semester Micro-economic theory 3-hour exam with another 3 hours psychology exam waiting for me right after while running on 5 hours of sleep and lots of caffeine.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I love singing even if I’m not a great singer.
2. I love eating Cachupa (a Cape-Verden traditional dish), especially the one my mom cooks.
3. I’m always trying to learn new things, especially sports related.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
Since I was young, I always felt very attracted to feminine + masculine energies. I loved playing soccer, but I also loved walking around in high heels and pretending I was a model.

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
I’m passionate about black history and empowerment. Especially black women.

Melwin

Who:
Melwin G. (@melwyin) — 186 cm / 6’1″ — French from Réunion, France — born August 8th — he/him.

Where:
Williams Agency (London – mother agency), Next Paris, Wilhelmina London, MGM Models (Hamburg)

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I left my native, wonderful island, which is Reunion Island, in order to live my Parisien dreams. So now I am alone in Paris without my twin sister but happier than ever and ready to achieve my goals.

— Your most embarrassing moment:
I was working for a fashion showroom during Fashion Week, and they gave me a pair of oversized pants to wear. But they were for sure too oversized… so when I was walking, the pants fell down, and I was in underwear—almost naked—in front of customers… it was really embarrassing.

— How did you become a model:
Recently, I was scrolling through Instagram, and I saw my (future) mother agency. I decided to follow their Instagram account. A few minutes later,  I received a message from them. A few days later, I signed with them. That’s how I became a model. I’m very happy and grateful.

Océane

Who:
Océane Tranchant (@ocn.trnch) — 180 cm / 5’11” — Swiss from Geneva, Switzerland — born October 10th — she/her.

Where:
GVAFACES (Switzerland – mother agency)

— The most interesting thing about your family:
On my mother’s side, most of my aunts and uncles work either in important positions (bankers, journalists, non-governmental organizations) or are in the clergy (nun, priest, and even a bishop).

— How did you become a model?
I was scouted while going to work on a random day. Although people had already told me I had the profile of a model, I never sought to have anything to do with it until that random day when finally, the hopes of lots of my friends and cousins became reality, haha :)

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. Both my surname and name are in the French dictionary (Océane Tranchant = ocean sharp)
2. I don’t like three things starting with C: chocolate, caramel, and cinnamon. Yeah, I know… but I promise I’m not difficult with food, in general 😅
3. I study chemistry. I am in contact with toxic, carcinogenic, and sometimes deadly substances very regularly in practical work.

Richard

Who:
Richard Corrin (@richardjuliancorrin) — 190 cm / 6’3″ — British from Pembury, United Kingdom — born June 28th — he/him.

Where:
Prisma (mother agency), GIRL (Paris)

— Who is someone you admire and why?
The person I admire most is definitely my mum, she’s sacrificed a lot for me and has always shown me what’s important in life, the value of empathy and understanding, and most of all, keeping your inner child alive so that one can go forth with curiosity and openness. She’s my best friend, so I feel super lucky to have that relationship and hope I can pass on the same values to both the people around me and to my kids one day.

— What are you super interested in that most people have never heard of?
I’m interested in the physical and biochemical axis between the gut and the brain and how nurturing the microbiome can be the solution to alleviating mental ailments which are increasingly symptomatic of modern life. It’s become something of an obsession throughout my life and forces me to get creative in the kitchen, which is fun! The good news is I’ve found that you can still eat yummy food whilst maximizing your bioenergetic balance.

— What’s your most prized possession and why?
I would say that my most prized possession is my teddy bear! I don’t own a lot of things generally and try not to get attached to the superfluous, but my teddy bear’s been with me since day one and has always been a loyal and patient companion, as well as a great listener! So yeah, it wouldn’t feel the same without him there in my life – big up blue bear :)
