— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I love listening to metal. I feel like metal is my identity. I started listening to metal because of my father; when I was little, my father always played metal songs. Like when we were traveling or at home, he’d watch music videos. Because of that, I ended up liking metal too.

— What’s your most prized possession and why?
My motorcycles, any one of them, because motorcycles are my life. They take me where I need to go. With them I can tour, I can go meet my friends, I can go almost anywhere. Although it’s tiring, I love my motorcycles to the point where I treat and take care of them as I would myself.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I grew up doing a lot of sports, so I could say that I’m pretty good at a lot of them. The sports that I like most would be badminton and football. And basketball! But one that I think people would find the most interesting is that I can do parkour.
2. Another thing I like to do is to create art. I mainly like to draw. For me, drawing is a way to express my emotions and calm myself. Drawing has become my nature, and all the drawings I have created can be seen as a journal of my life.
3. Lastly, I think people would be surprised that I enjoy cooking. I was mainly influenced by my mother and my love of eating. I like to cook on my own and try new recipes.

— Who is someone you admire and why?
The people I admire are those who are happy with what they are doing and show sincerity in what they are doing. Even if you don’t say it with your own mouth, if anyone sees that person and feels that they are working hard with a sense of mission, I think they are worthy of respect. There are various jobs, but I respect people who enjoy living in their respective positions.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I am not good at dancing, but I once won a prize in a dance competition when I was in elementary school.
2. My older sister’s name is Ka-eul which means Autumn because she was born in autumn, and my name could have been Kyeo Wool which means Winter, as I am her younger sister. But my grandfather said it would be better to use Chinese characters, so my name finally became Ka Young.
3. When I was young, I didn’t have double eyelids at all. As I grew up, the right eye settled first, and then the left eye also started to appear later. Maybe that’s why the double eyelids on both sides are different.

— How did you become a model?
I was told by people around me to model. Once, I had a ‘model for a day’ experience, and it was so fun and attractive. For the first time, I gained confidence in my dream. I found out that there was a fashion modeling department in high school and learned more about models. Also, when working, I think it is fun to meet and work with many people in a team, so I want to continue to develop my dream.

I got scouted whilst I was working at a café. I was serving this person, who happened to be a make-up artist, and he put me in touch with my mother agency, The Force.

— Your most embarrassing moment:
There are too many because I am very clumsy. As I said before, I worked in a cafe. I can’t count how many times I spilled drinks on guests, the worst one being red wine. I also once went on a date with a really cute boy and fell down the stairs at the restaurant where we were eating. So embarrassing! We never talked again after.

Anime! I grew up with Naruto, and later I was watching a lot of anime. Now I often prefer watching that over some regular movies.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
Back in the day, my appearance wasn’t very attractive. I used to have issues with acne and fat on my body and face. I wasn’t so tall. I trained my body and face, started a skincare and hair care routine, lost weight, and worked on my confidence, and here I am after the self-made glow-up.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. For 4 years, I trained in boxing and kickboxing. I had 4 amateur fights with a record 3 wins and 1 loss.
Because of some injuries and starting modeling, I don’t want to train professionally anymore. Everyone tells me I don’t look like a fighter anymore.

2. I took my first flight in March 2023 on the occasion of my first campaign shoot.

I was so happy and grateful that I cried from happiness.

3. I don’t look 21 years old, which I almost am. Most people think I’m 18 because of my baby face.
