It was so embarrassing and funny at the same time. I was just glad I was able to quickly pull my dress back up and move on with my day. These things happen, right?

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I’m such a stickler for discipline when it comes to work – I know, I know, it might sound like I’m patting myself on the back. But hey, it’s just in my blood! I’m never late and always try to be super professional, even if it means being a little too uptight at times.
2. As a child, I thought birthmarks were like secret holes on the body that I could open to see what was inside. I’d spend hours trying to peek through them, and when I stood in the sun, I thought I was absorbing all its power like a superhero.
3. Horseback riding is my absolute favorite hobby, and I simply adore horses. They are such graceful and sophisticated creatures with their own unique personalities and quirks. Not to mention, they are so sensitive and in tune with their surroundings.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I can speak French fluently.
2. I have never missed a solar eclipse sighting ever since I was 17. Every time there is one, I take the x-ray of my broken knuckles I got when I was 14 and watched the eclipse through them.  Uncannily fascinated by them for some reason.
3. I have been involved in 5 internships during my sophomore year with seven organizations, ranging from hospitality, event management, tourism, and public relations.

— What’s your most prized possession and why?
Growing up, I did not go on vacations; I went to my grandparent’s place in the countryside. If my house was on fire, I would grab all the woolen sweaters that my grandmother knitted for me and a photo album she kept which had pictures of my mother while she was growing up. There is also a grocery store receipt that has my grandfather’s signature. These are my most prized possessions.

2. I have a small collection of old cameras back home. I found most of them in my father’s room and I’m trying to collect more!
3. I tried to be a vegetarian once but failed. Long story short: it’s hard. Even harder when you don’t like tofu. Instead, I ended up quitting red meat, and now I just eat fish or chicken. In the future, I might give it a try again.

— An issue or cause your passionate about?
Mental health awareness and the worldwide migrant/refugee crisis.

— How did you become a model?
I got introduced to modeling thanks to a friend who was modeling in Colombia. I was 15 years old and soon started to do local modeling too. Then around two years later, I was scouted via Instagram by my mother agency, Gucaya. It’s curious because I normally never check Requested DMs, but this time I randomly did, and even more curious that I decided to reply!
