— Your most embarrassing moment:
One time I got caught skipping school by the same class I was actually skipping! I was in a park hanging out with friends when suddenly my teacher and all my classmates appeared as they were having a field trip. This still haunts me to this day. Hahaha!

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
At the moment I am attentively following the developments in the United States regarding their gun laws and how they deal with the many brutal mass shootings going on over there. I really wonder if and how these laws will change in the future.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
One winter, when I was around 7 or 8 years old, it was snowing outside, so we went sledding. As the hill was quite steep, my sled got really fast and I lost control. So I ran into a small tree head first. Unexpectedly the tree was more injured than me, broke in half, and fell over completely. So yeah, I think that’s definitely a funny story people always bring up talking about me.

Besides modeling, I also have a really big passion for art. I started drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. For me making art became a way to express my inner feelings. At the age of 12, I started at the School for Young Talent in the Hague which gave me the opportunity to go to the Royal Academy of Art four times a week in combination with high school. I was at the Art Academy every day, it was like a home. After six years I finished this school and chose to take a gap year to build on my modeling career.

— How did you become a model?
At the age of 16, I was spotted by a scout at the Art Academy. He brought me in contact with Wilma Wakker and then it all started.
