— How did you become a model?
First I was invited to an open casting by my oldest sister’s friend when I was 17. I was chosen to do a hair show for Redken. Ever since that experience, I have been hooked. I took buses and hitched rides with friends or family to get to LA for castings and, eventually, jobs. I was signed to my first agency after being scouted by the owner of Natural Models from my best friend’s Instagram.
— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
The abuse of animals and children—the helpless and defenseless. It breaks my heart when there is neglect for the things that matter most. Children will grow up with trauma that could have been prevented. Animals are being taken against their will for man kinds selfish gain. I would love to start my own non-profit to help the less fortunate.
— One thing you never want to do again:
I never want to see myself as less than and inadequate. I never want to forget where I came from. I struggle with my self-worth and self-love. It’s a daily journey to get through these feelings, but it’s worth it.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
Usually, everyone is surprised when I say that I am 19 years old, because they think I am a hundred years younger, for example, 15 or 16.
— The most interesting thing about your family:
Unfortunately, I don’t have a big family, I only have my mother. We love to go to the pool together with her and she looks very young like she’s my sister.
— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
There are many of them. For example, as a child, I played an evil witch in a play at school.

— What are you super interested in that most people have never heard of?
A rock band from the 70s called ‘The Modern Lovers’, their music was amazing and I was recently very surprised as to how underrated they actually are.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I climbed the highest mountain in North Africa around 5 years ago for charity.
2. I can speak Japanese.
3. Since I love films, I occasionally make short films.
— Who is your favourite entertainer?
David Byrne from the Talking Heads probably, especially in Stop Making Sense. I really love his eccentric movements and attitude.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
When I was young, my family moved from the countryside to the city and ended up leaving our puppy with my aunt instead. I was angry and upset and angry with mom. I went to see it every day off and my family still talks about it.
— Who is your favorite entertainer?
I like Leslie Cheung, the artist from Hong Kong because his talent is unique and his gentle personality is contagious.
— Who is someone you admire and why?
The person I admire most is my mother, she is a great person. She is meticulous and always works hard. When I was small, despite our plights, she still provided me with a good education and looked after me very well. She taught me a lot, is my most important family member, and also is the best teacher in my life.

— What’s your most prized possession and why?
I think the most precious thing in life and to live in the moment. There are a lot of things happening around us that we can’t change, so we should be grateful.
— How did you become a model?
By chance, I met many like-minded people at university and joined the university model team. I also met good mentors and became a model through continuous training.
— Who is your favorite entertainer?
My favorite artist is JJLin. I appreciate his musical talent, life attitude, and so on.
