— Who is someone you admire and why?
I admire Kobe [Bryant] because all he ever did was compete. No matter what people thought or said about him, or even if a person didn’t like him, he didn’t care. He had a thing he called “Mamba Mentality,” which means focusing on what you like doing, all negatives aside.
— Who is your favorite entertainer?
My favorite from when I was a kid up until now is still Mr. Bean. It’s got to be Mr. Bean! He does these funny things in silence, but during that silence, he kind of teaches some life lessons. The life lessons I learned from him are ‘success comes through hard work and struggles,’ ‘out-smart a competitor in style,’ and ‘actions speak louder than words.’
— How did you become a model?
I was scrolling on Instagram and found this site called Ask a Model Agent by a NY agent called Greg Chan. I thought it was a scam at first, but then we got on a Zoom call and after talking for a bit and taking a lot of digitals over a couple of months, he booked me for Louis Vuitton.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
When I was at the airport to catch a plane and suddenly David Guetta appeared. It felt funny to meet someone you know from the media.
— Who is someone you admire and why?
My best friend is a girl with a very complicated family situation but despite everything, she always remains positive in her daily life.
— How did you become a model?
I was spotted on the street, which was unexpected; I thought they were going to ask me for a cigarette or something.

Society and social media issues because they are two great creations with a lot of potential but they are not being used healthily.
— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
Right now, I don’t have the usual big desire of discovering the world because I am more interested in discovering my city and I want to enjoy the good things she provides me.
— Who is someone you admire and why?
Someone that truly cares about others is genuine, and tries to do the right thing because it makes sense and not because of reputation. Someone that works with the mindset of being useful to society and contributes to peace for humanity. I also admire everyone that can do what I think is impossible.

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
A cause I’m passionate about is taking poverty and starvation to the lowest minimum in my country by creating lucrative jobs for the low-income masses. I would partner with an NGO to achieve this great cause.
— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
My mom always shares a sweet story with me about when I was a baby and would always play with my dolls by feeding them and caring for them like a mother. And also how when she took me out, people always told her I was such a beautiful baby.
— Who is your favorite entertainer?
Beyonce. I love her spirit of being a Black American and still maintaining a space in the world as one of the most powerful women. And her songs are very beautiful!

— The most interesting thing about your family:
I would not say it’s the most interesting but it came as a surprise to me when I first learned about it. My great grandparents on my mother’s side used to be senators in Taiwan before they got chased out by the Chinese government. Then, during the wars in the 1940s, my grandfather and his family fled the country to the US to start a new life.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I love skiing and have been doing it since the age of 3.
2. I have traveled to almost 40 different countries.
3. I can communicate in 4 different languages.
— How did you become a model?
I was waiting in line to go clubbing when I saw a car stop in the middle of the road. A lady got out and came up to me. Turns out that car was an Uber and the lady who approached me was an agent for a modeling agency called Nevs. She asked me if I was interested in modeling and gave me her card and got back into her Uber. It was a bit surprising and it all happened so fast. But a few days later I contacted her and now I’m currently signed to Nevs thanks to her, Jadine.
