— Your most embarrassing moment?
Sadhbh: The most embarrassing thing that happened to me recently was when I fell down the steps of the metro at the Duomo in Milan in front of everyone.
Cadhla: I walked around all day with my dress stuck into the back of my knickers and I only realized when I got back to the apartment. Yikes.
— Your most prized possession?
Sadhbh: Well on our 16th birthday we were given a gold ring each that was originally our mothers’ engagement ring. It was her old engagement ring that didn’t fit her, so she melted it down into two rings. She thought that the gold suited us better and we never take them off!
— How did you become a model?
Cadhla: We were scouted off our friend’s Instagram like three years ago. We had gone to her birthday party, and she posted a picture with us and it all started from there!

— One thing you never want to do again:
I will never go bungee jumping again! The first bungee I went with my friends and when I fell, I felt my soul come out of my body. After that, my legs felt too soft to walk.
— The most interesting thing about your family:
When I was 15, one night I snuck out to a party and I drank a lot. When I came home, I lay on a chair in my neighbor’s yard and they had to call my dad to take me home. When my father arrived, I even asked him for a cigarette!
— Who is someone you admire and why?
From small to large, who I admire most is my baby sister. She is cheerful, lively and generous. Brings happiness to our family. She can balance her studies and life well. She is the role model of my life.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
This is my natural hair colour! People are always shocked by that. It gets even lighter in the summer, and although I’m partial to putting in some lemon juice and sometimes use a blonde enhancing spray now and again, I’ve never touched box hair dye or had my hair coloured professionally. Now you know my secret!
— What are you super interested in that most people have never heard of?
I’m currently researching medieval fashion for my MA, and I’m very interested in how ideas of religion, ritual and tradition connect to clothing and methods of making clothes. I’m also keen to explore how and why the medieval era is a continual source of inspiration in modern culture, particularly in relation to fashion.
— What’s your most prized possession and why?
I’m addicted to material possessions so this is a hard one. But if I had to choose, either the tiny antique chainmail bag I got recently for my birthday, or this beautiful original Edwardian blouse I found last year at a market. I study fashion history, so I’m obsessed with vintage clothes.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I‘m a manager of a tourism company in Jordan’s Wadi Rum desert.
2. I was always the youngest and smallest kid at school. Before falling asleep I always wished to grow tall and it worked!
3. I have vaccinated more than 6000 people against corona.
— Who is your favorite entertainer?
My henhouse shotgun slinging grandpa. Growing up and living in Siberia and Kazakstan, he experienced infinite adventures – escaping wolves and bears, almost freezing or starving on fishing trips, forging Soviet passports, his time as jazz musician “Andy Goodman” and so much more. His funny and captivating way of telling his stories guarantees to entertain at every family dinner.
— The most interesting thing about your family:
My family was disowned and deported to Kazakstan and fled the USSR later in 1990. Their belongings were taken by corrupt officials thus they arrived with nothing. Thanks to their hard work my life is so easy compared to theirs…

— How did you become a model?
I became a model after my first year in the Czech Republic, right after I came back from my summer holiday in my home country Kazakhstan. All my friends and family told me that I’m good-looking and tall and I should try it. So I took a chance.

— What are you super interested in that most people have never heard of?
Ecospheres! It’s a hobby of mine that most people don’t know about where you collect things like plants, lake water and dirt and turn it into a self-sufficient ecosystem. I’ve seen some pretty cool things grow inside them like shrimp and tadpoles.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I love pottery and have just started my own business making clayware and home décor.
2. I’ve always been fascinated by forensic science and criminal law, and studied criminology, psychology and law.
3. I love dessert so much I eat it after every meal, even breakfast!

I have competed in track and field, specialising in 200 meters.
