— What are three interesting facts about you?
I speak three languages fluently, one of my art projects from primary school is in an art gallery and I was once bitten by a baby monkey.
— The most interesting thing about your family?
My great grandfather was a well-known Italian jazz composer for an orchestra and I have a sister on the way! Very excited!
— How and when did you become a model?
I was scouted by my mother agent when I was twelve. I remember I was wearing a denim pencil skirt, a burgundy turtleneck and leather moccasins. I probably looked like a tiny pale librarian. From there, I had my first polas taken and did my first shoot!

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
I am a sound engineer with a great love for music. I work in studios and help recording artists.
— How did you become a model?
I was scouted online during the pandemic.
— Who is someone you admire and why?
Someone I admire a lot is my dad who owns a vinyl shop. He makes a living doing what he loves which is meeting all kinds of people and talking about music!

— Something you are self-conscious about:
When I was a kid, I was very self-conscious about my thin figure. Especially when most Colombian women have rather voluptuous figures. Despite that, my late teenage years have taught me to embrace who I am both physically and mentally. I’ve found great strength in accepting who I am and now my figure is my greatest attribute because it makes me stand out.
— How and when did you become a model?
I was first “scouted” when I was fifteen years old… the designer that was making my “quinceañera” dress saw great potential in me, so she recommended I go to a modeling academy. At first, I was pretty hesitant but the designer’s empowering words gave me the inspiration I needed in order to build my modeling career. A year later, when I was sixteen years old, I was able to enter a modeling academy near my hometown, where I learned the basics about runway and commercial modeling.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. An interesting fact about me is that I love putting my creativity into practice through craft-making, especially when creating jewelry and accessories.
2. Another fact is my love for Korean culture, I’ve been really drawn to Korean culture since I was nine years old. I adore both their music and tv shows… there’s something about Korean culture that I find aesthetically pleasing and very empowering.
3. Finally, another interesting fact might be that I’ve worked with different social movements and campaigns dedicated to helping people in vulnerable social positions. I guess helping others awakens my core ability to be sensitive towards those who, for social, political and economical reasons, find themselves going through a hard time in life.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
I’m designing and producing clothes under my own brand called Unstable Network. It’s always one-of-a-kind handmade stuff so far. I also rap, sing and write my own songs, so here is my Soundcloud too.

I’m actually studying at a classic tailoring school.
— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
Well, I don’t have a story, but I guess they all would just tell you that I’m hard-headed, which is true :-)

— One thing most surprising people find out about you?
I’m actually quite talkative when I want to be. At first, I could come off as being super reserved but when I begin to get comfortable, my truer and more fun personality starts to shine.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. The first would be that I have a twin brother and quite surprisingly, we’re complete opposites. He is more studious and focused while I like to let loose and have fun.
2. The second most interesting fact about me is that I love painting. It allows me to express myself on a canvas and, to me, it is also a form of therapy, which I think everyone should engage in. Currently, I am exploring self-portraits at odd angles and I’ve previously worked on incorporating embroidery into my artwork.
3. The third and last would be that I love playing golf–or any sport for that matter!
— How did you become a model?
It was January 1st, 2021, New Year’s Eve, when Umodels NYC scouted me on Instagram, and ever since I’ve been so grateful for all their love and support.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
The one time I hiked 24 miles barefoot through the jungle, popped off a toenail ¾ of the way through and had to hobble along back to the main road! It was pure agony, but they still get a lot of laughs retelling it. “The kid thought he was Mowgli or Tarzan or something!”
— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
Access and entry into the life-changing and healing power of the ocean and nature as a whole, for all peoples. In 2020, a couple of my younger brothers and I co-founded and created Black Sand, a surf and arts collective centered on the mission of diversifying surf culture, using arts, creativity, and skills to express to people of color along with the entire world that you too have a place in the ocean. Regardless of how the media portrays these spaces.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
Uno: I’m an aspiring professional Big Wave surfer. I feel more at home in the water than on land!
Dos: I have about a decade into practicing meditation and yoga. These practices changed my life in ways I can’t even begin to fully understand or accurately explain.
Tres: I lived outside in a tent and a self-made structure for over a year while working on a cacao farm in Kaua’i!
