— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
People may be surprised to find out that I do Croatian Folklore Dancing and I am half Polish. Growing up around two different cultures has allowed me to embrace both cultures in unique ways. I love folklore dancing because it showcases old traditions that have been passed down for generations before me.
— Who is someone you admire and why?
I admire my grandmother the most. She is the most selfless, hard-working person I know. From growing up on a farm, immigrating to the U.S, and working as a cleaning lady for 40 years, to retiring and still insisting on helping around the house. All that my grandma has done has been for the benefit of my family and I owe so much of the opportunities I have now to her.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I’m a first-generation American.
2. I love interior design. My mom and I are always working on a new project to spice up the house.
3. My name Anga is pronounced “and-ja” and means “angel” in Latin.

Who:
Isiah Zion Dowden-Samuel (@isiahzion); 188 cm / 6’2″; British from London, England; born May 19th.
Where:
Menace Model Management (London – mother agency), BOOM Models Agency (Milan)
— How did you become a model?
It was after England was knocked out of the World Cup in 2018. I decided to go clubbing in a part of London I don’t usually visit even though my friend was not too interested and actually cancelled meeting me. I went out anyway and this led me unknowingly to my upcoming career opportunity. If I had stayed home I wouldn’t have bumped into my agent. Coincidence? I think not! I walked past the entrance of Soho House and my agent comes out and literally stops me immediately to ask “are you a model?” and the rest, as they say, is history.
— Who is your favorite entertainer?
At the moment it would be Kanye West. He’s a character, an individual with no fear and he’s very intelligent, maybe to his own detriment. Musically he is undeniably the best of his generation and has influenced countless artists of today. I like Kanye because he lays himself for all to see flaws and all, no persona and no facade.

2. My great-great-grandmother is Irish.
3. My great-grandfather is Venezuelan.

— Your most embarrassing moment:
I once tripped over a swan and it followed me. Since then, I am afraid of them.
— The best and worst aspects of your personality:
I’m creative and spontaneous, but on the other hand sometimes naive. I also describe myself as self-reflective, which is related to me being sometimes too critical of myself. When it comes to meeting new people, I can be kinda awkward.
— Among your friends or family, what are you famous for?
My friends say I have the best music taste because I enjoy making playlists to match every vibe. Plus, I can make the best vegan pancakes.

One story my family would tell about me is how ambitious I am about sports. They would always bring up the time when I won the Columbus Day race back in grade school.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
I love reading books. I used to when I was younger but somehow I lost interest. When Covid started I got back into it. I am always super excited to read a chapter before I go to bed.
— What are you super interested in that most people never heard of?
I am super interested in medicine. I know a lot of people know about that stuff, but especially the human heart and brain are interesting for me. I love when my dad tells me about different heart diseases.
— What is a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
My parents always like to tell others how I was a drama queen when I was a child. These days I am more of a chilled and calm person. But this part of me is still there and sometimes shows her madness.

— Who is someone you admire and why?
David Attenborough. He’s an English broadcaster and a natural historian. It was because of him and his documentaries that I fell in love with wildlife. I would watch them on repeat when I was little. If it wasn’t for him I would probably be a different person today.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I love to draw. I spent most of my days when I was little drawing anything I could imagine and I got pretty good at it.
2. I love the sea and all the wildlife that’s in it. When I was 10 years old I spent most of my summer days on a boat watching the wildlife of the Atlantic Ocean.
3. I’m always taking photos. If it’s an animal, a person, or simply an object I’ll be taking photos of it. I wouldn’t call myself a photographer just yet but hopefully one day I can.
