— Who is someone you admire and why?
I admire my dad a lot because he has had one of the toughest lives ever but his mentality is unbelievable. He went to NYU in his late 40s to be a teacher in the US because it has always been his goal to be a teacher.
— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
Domestic violence, I believe that physical and emotional abuse is one of the biggest problems in the world. We can see a great volume of domestic violence in third world countries and there is not much anyone is doing about it.

1. I moved from Russia to Spain when I was 13.
2. I am currently studying at a business university in Madrid.

— The best and worst aspects of your personality:
I would say that the best aspect of my personality is my ability to enjoy little things as well as to understand people and empathize, which always helps me develop deep connections with others. The worst aspect is that I can be too strict with myself and get reeeeaally frustrated if I don’t get something right.

I’m passionate about ending racism. I hope racism can be eradicated in my lifetime and that my kids never have to live in a racist society.

Some of the best aspects of my personality are I’m outgoing, hardworking, and creative. The worst aspects are that I’m sometimes impatient and I can get frustrated with school at times.

— The most interesting thing about your family?
My uncle has written a book about clinical pathology and is a top doctor of pathology. I have 3 siblings, a 21-year-old brother, a 10-year-old step sister and a little 3-year-old sister who I all love very dearly.
— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
I am very passionate about homelessness. There is much more that can be done to resolve this. We’re all here together and everyone deserves an opportunity to have a good life and not to be stuck on the streets.
— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I feel people are surprised when they look beyond my exterior. Their perspective before they speak to me is very different from after they speak to me, I feel I am very respectful and well mannered.

There is no logical reason I should be so enamored with Billy Joel. He is unquestionably a brilliant songwriter and his music always accompanies me through ups and downs.
— Something you are self-conscious about:
My body and my nose. Some people say that I have “piggy nose” and a giant body but now I’ve accepted my flaws so no one can use them against me, for me all shapes are beautiful.
— The most interesting thing about your family?
My grandfather has 3 wives so I have about 15-20 aunties/uncles. I have an uncountable amount of cousins, I can barely remember all of their names. When I meet them I will ask my mom “who are they?” “who is that?” I always feel bad for not remembering them but how can I remember 100000 names???
