— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
My real name is Elisabeth but only my dentist calls me that. Or sometimes even my big brother when he’s mad at me.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. My heritage is German and Eritrean.
2. I am super sensitive to smell, to the point where I have to smell everything before I eat it.
3. I have an irrational fear of tripping or falling. That’s also why you rarely see me running or jumping.
— What is something you wish you knew more about?
My mum always stressed the importance of being an independent woman. That’s why I want to educate myself more about the stock market since financial independence isn’t taught to women equally as men. I don’t have a single female friend who invests in the stock market but most of my male friends do. By educating myself and eventually educating my girlfriends, I hope to spread more awareness about financial independence.

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
I highly stand for acceptance and respect for cultural differences. As a cultural mix myself I know how much people can learn from each other. Instead of fearing the unknown, we should embrace it. In the end, we all come from the same tiny blue planet.
— One thing people may be surprised to find out about me:
I am studying ancient Greek in my high school program.
— Something you are self-conscious about:
I know I can be sensitive to the pressure I feel because of someone else’s expectations. My ambition, however, is to live my life the way I want to live it. Every life has an end, so it is important to live for the special moments and to cherish them.

— Who is someone you admire and why?
I admire a lot of people… but someone who is deeply in my heart is Billie Holiday. She is one of my role models in life because against all odds she became successful by never giving up. Her strength, grace, and perseverance are a great lesson.
— The best and worst aspects of your personality:
I think the best would be that I have good intuition (although sometimes that can be a blessing and a curse) and the worst is that I tend to be very extreme or intense.
— Something you are self-conscious about:
In the past 2 years of my life, I have started to understand that I can get what I want by focusing fully on it and fighting without giving up. The only thing that can stand in the way of our goals and aspirations is ourselves. Most of the time we self-boycott with our own thoughts and fears. I believe that we have to learn to accept our demons and move with them hand in hand to be able to go forward, otherwise, they will prevail over our goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo, first because he is the best at his job and because he started from the bottom.
— How and when did you become a model?
I became a model five months ago when I signed my first contract with my actual mother agency (Pop House) in Canarias, thanks to a photographer that gave me the opportunity to meet them. Nowadays I’m with different agencies around the world that offer me a chance to improve my model life.
— The most interesting thing about your family?
The most interesting thing is that we are such a close family. I have an older sister that, since I was younger, has been an inspiration to me for my life as a model, for example teaching me how to dress and improve my style.

2. Borges is one of my favorite writers. He was my inspiration to major in philosophy.
3. I love Japan. I learned Japanese by watching movies and reading novels before I came here.
— How and when did you become a model?
I moved to Japan from China when I was 17 and got scouted by an entertainment agency. I didn’t join them because I was more interested in fashion than show business. So I found a model agency which I really like and I have been working with them since then. It was definitely an amazing experience. For now, I’m ready and looking forward to my first fashion week journey.
— What is something you wish you knew more about?
I wish I knew more about fashion. I feel blessed to be a part of this industry. But at the same time, I should know about the creativity, imagination, and the story that everyone interprets through fashion.

— Most embarrassing moment:
My most embarrassing moment was the time I had to sing a solo for a Beauty and the Beast play in front of hundreds of people, my family, and friends. Long story short I should have spent more time learning the words.

I’m a big fan of Tom Hardy as an actor. His role as Bane in the Dark Knight Rises is a favourite of mine, but his part in “Legend” as both Kray brothers simultaneously is his best for me.
