— What’s the most interesting thing about your family?
I’m the first born in America out of my mom’s entire family, including my sister. All of them have residency in the countries of Panama or Argentina.
— What’s the last thing you Googled?
“What kind of gas should I have been putting in my car this entire time?”
— What are you interested in that most people haven’t heard of?
I’ve always been fascinated with building whether glassblowing, woodworking, or putting together a piece of furniture from Ikea or something.
Jerome Bela Szabo, 190 cm / 6’3″, Hungarian, born June 8th.
— What is an issue or cause you are passionate about?
It is very disturbing to me how much people are against otherness. Those who think differently, those who [are] doing something else than the average, or others for their habits, their skin color, their sexual orientation, social, financial status, their origin, or every other discrimination, for whatever reason, even violating human dignity. In order to honor diversity and to experience the beauty of it, acceptance should be taught, not polarization. The earth would be a much better place for people if we could see that every special person makes us more special if we try to understand the others.
— Who is someone you admire and why?
The star whose story is very impressive to me is Johnny Depp. I really respect him, especially for his acting decisions during his career. He refused many opportunities that others dreamed of and systematically searched for the roles of outsider, strange, socially condemned characters, and he could bring it so close to these figures to ordinary people, so much he could show their human side like nobody before him.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
What are three interesting facts about you? Fact one: I like to play with my voice. I often entertain myself by imitating the voice of others or simply by inventing one and talking or reading something in that tone and style.
Fact two: I love singing, I wanted to be a singer since I know my mind.
Fact three: I like to play funny sometimes. When people are very unanimous around me, I behave a bit like Jack Sparrow. I mostly do my jokes and mimic movements. I like to make people smile!
