We Asked:

What are your interests?
“Well, I am interested in many things. For example, I am keen on traveling and not just see other places and other people, but planning my trips: choosing the country, the hotel, finding different places of interest and so on- I spend hours on different resources in search of information and of course I really enjoy every minute spent in а new place. Also I think that it may be strange for someone, but I am passionate about people, I really like to look at the faces and notice unique features- it’s really inspiring. Recently I started to find out more about food and nutrition, I try to go about it scientifically and understand the right way for me, my body and soul, because all this things are interrelated. In addition sport and different physical practices are very important for me, I enjoy yoga, stretching, running when I want and just trainings at home to stay fit. For sure the last one is film shooting- fashionable movement nowadays, but I just like doing shots and wait for the result.”

How and when did you become a model?
“I signed the contract with my mother agency in April 2017 due to the scout who found me in the community Typical Modeling on vk.com (it is like Russian facebook) where girls can understand if they have any chances or not. So there I found out more about this sphere and many scouts began to write to me. It was surprisingly that I can work as a model, because I’ve never thought about this before and moreover I didn’t think that I am pretty.”

What have you learnt since you started modelling?
“From my point of view, I’ve already learnt many things from modeling. Probably the most important one is self-love and embracing myself. Before this I cannot even imagine that someone can find my appearance beautiful and unique, as I’ve always thought that I am an “ugly duckling”, however modeling helped me to overcome the insecurity and start loving myself which is really important. Also I’ve become more independent, patient and confidence, these character traits develop during the work when your parents and friends are not with you and you’re alone in in a foreign country. Networking and communication with completely different people are very useful skills which are gained during the work, too. All in all, I can say that it is invaluable experience and I really appreciate it.”

Regan Ring, 186 cm / 6’1″, British, born September 28th.

We Asked:

What’s the most interesting thing about your family? Do you have siblings?
“I’m half Korean, half English, and I have 2 Japanese half brothers and 1 full brother. So at home, we speak a weird mix of English, Japanese, Korean.”

What are your interests/favourite things?
“My two main things are football and music. I’ve been doing both since I was born. I’m actually working on my first project so watch this space!”

What is one thing people may be surprised to find about you?
“This question is hard! I guess it would probably have to be about my music again. I’m grade 8 in singing and cello.”
