Santino Bulatovic, 189 cm / 6’2.5″, Serbian, born February 27th.

Why:

With his laser cut bone structure and piercing blue eyes, Santino is post-Soviet chic at its finest. A veteran of his first runway season (he walked for Cerutti and MSGM among others), this Serbian scene stealer is set to become a fixture on the show circuit.

We Asked:

How and when did you became a model?
“I entered in modeling world totally unexpectedly, thanks to my sister who had attended a casting and when she was there she showed my pictures to the people from the agency. And from that point everything was happening so fast. It has never crossed my mind that I could ever do something like this.”

What is the most difficult thing that you have ever done?
“That happened two months ago, when I found myself alone at the biggest airport that I have ever seen, in a totally strange country with a language I did not know. To make matters worse, the battery on my cell phone was totally empty and I did not have charger. I had all necessary information about the address of an agency and the place I would stay but I couldn’t get it because my phone was dead. It was a really difficult situation but I quickly managed to overcome it and to let my parents to know that I was ok because I knew they were very worried about me. Everything worked out OK and it became a good life experience.”

What is the one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
“The people who do not know me best may be surprised at how well I can sing and how good my hearing is for the music.”
