Who:

Malene Sorensen, 180 cm / 5’11”, Danish, born April 10th.

Why:

A beauty queen turned curve fashion favourite, in her brief career to date Malene has worked for Mango, and Marina Rinaldi. With attention now turning to conquering the US market, Malene’s pared back chicness puts her on a whole other level.

We Asked:

How and when did you become a model?
“In 2016 I competed in the modelling competition ‘Scandinavia’s Next Topmodel’ where I finished as 1st runner up. After the final I got a modelling contract with MiLK Management in London and I started my career in January 2017. Now I’m a fulltime curvy model having jobs all around Europe and I’m really thankful.”

What is one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
“I was crowned as Miss Denmark 2013 and represented my country at Miss World in Bali among 120 girls from different nations. Today I’m a part of the Miss Denmark organisation as a caster, mentor and judge, which is also my dream job. Beside that I have a bachelor degree in journalism and communication.”

What is an issue or cause you are passionate about?
“I like to do charity and help others. That’s why I also work at the Danish Cancer Society where we try to prevent cancer and research to find the right cure. I make awareness about the sun, how it can give you skin cancer and how to prevent it with the right sun protection. Unfortunately I know many people who died from cancer therefore this is a cause that’s very close to my heart. ”
