Who:
Erick Mullan, 186 cm / 6’1″, Brazilian, born March 13th.
Why:
With the face of a pugilist but the mind of a scholar, Erick is one hard-hitting male model. With Irish and Brazilian heritage, this boy from Bahia walked for a record amount of designers at Sao Paulo Fashion Week — and he’s definitely got the chops to take that momentum international.
We Asked:
Do you have any special skills?
“I participate in a group of philosophical discussions at an university professor’s house. I love to play the piano, I play it since the age of 7. Also, I’m starting my blog of literary criticism.”
How and when were you discovered?
“I was in a musical festival in Bahia talking to my friends when came a scouter asking me personal informations and about being a model. Everyone laughed and so did I, because I’d never imagined I could be a model one day; so he convinced me to take a chance and here I am.”
What is one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
“I constantly see people being surprised when they find that I love literature and that I play the piano. I like to study too, I consider myself thirsty for knowledge; I study for pleasure, not for obligation, and sometimes people get scared about it haha.”
