We Asked:
What have you learned since you started modelling?
“I have always been an impulsive person and always wanted to have the results at the same time. When I started being a model, I had to learn to be calm, patient and responsible. Sometimes things take time to happen and all we have to do is wait.”
What is an issue or cause you are passionate about?
“I feel proud to be a black model that has been gaining ground in the fashion world. At times I prefer to shut up and act, showing everyone – regardless of the color – that I am acting and trying to do my part so that racism ends in the world and the minority gains a voice, not being oppressed anymore.”
What were you doing before answering these questions and what will you be doing after?
“I had just arrived from my morning run and was drinking coffee with madeleines! After I finish, I’ll take a shower and continue to write my book.”
