What is an issue or cause you are passionate about?
I am very passionate about many issues, and there is no way I can scale the importance of one particular. As BLM, LGBT, Feminism, POC, WOC are literally the biggest undermined issues of our times as a society, and are very close to home for me personally.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
I’ve had so many embarrassing moments, it’s almost impossible for me to highlight one. But if I were to pick one that I still cringe about even until today, it would have to be my first day in a western school. I went into the bathroom, and I didn’t know that one was supposed to close her stall, instead I would yell at any other student that would come into the bathroom, and to top it off I would yell at them in Dinka (my native language). I got suspended that day, on my first day.
What’s the most interesting thing about your family? Do you have siblings?
The most interesting thing about my family is the age gap between me and my mother. My mum is only sixteen years older than me. I am also the eldest of ten children, and my mum is expecting twins in early October, so in total we will be twelve and my mum just turned 35.
