Why:

Waif-like or warrior princess, QiMan is a mixture of vulnerability and hard-edged street smart with a confidence and assurance in front of the camera that belies her youth. In secondary school, and always tall for her age, QiMan’s mother sent her to a modelling course to improve her posture. But as luck would have it, this tall teen was immediately noticed by Mauro da Silva, director for Elite Amsterdam, who just happened to be visiting her class. Now signed with Elite in all the major fashion capitals, and based in Shanghai where she is studying and modelling part time, the count down has begun to her sweet 16th birthday, when she will begin to work internationally.
