  • what a hot new face… good to see a beautiful new African American girl in the biz, the industry needs more color.

  • Adorable! And she has such a natural grace!

  • great look – love her!

  • wow

great face.. wow, but isn’t she not tall enought? does somebody know how old is she? amazing agencies

  • kitkat

to wow: I don’t know if she’s shorter than 5’9″ but it’s crazy if anyone thinks 5’9″ isn’t tall enough to be a model. The best models have always been somewhere around 5’9″.

Sorry but 6’0″ and a model is what is causing our too skinny problems.

I hope Jasmine can seal the fine line between high fashion clients and high commercial clients!

  • Katy

I think her height is fine especially considering her measurements. What a beautiful face! I wish her the best

  • reuben

hmm.. i don’t really like her. reminds me of chanel iman though.

  • Ahh, Jasmine is great, but she is NOT a new face. She’s been working for a while now & works quite a lot. Slow model week due to fashion week wrapping up I suppose?

  • Wow!
    She’s wonderful!
    I like her!

  • Simbli

I like her, very fresh.. but its not like “wooow!!” for me….

  • kia

she is what u call a white girl dipped in chocolate. it seems like there are two different categories of black models; the african ones, dark skin, full lips/nose, kinky hair(ajouk, alek etc) and then light skin/brown mixed looking girls…long hair, more petite features ( jourdan, iman)

  • Andthecrazybee

Yes, tu es vraiment merveilleuse !!!

  • macaroon

I like her. I want to see how she is in editorials. Her tests are very clean and fresh.

To the comment about her “newness”–most of the “new faces” and “top ten newcomers” are not “new” to the industry at all just new to the radar.

  • Jasmine is as sweet as genuine. You can check her out and judge for yourself in a video:

  • Ali

    I fancy her,

  • Yasmin

    Very commercial!
Imo, she’s too short (def. shorter than 1.75)& too thin…

  • M

The site could do without racist remarks

  • BMD

Mostly agree with comments made here. She’s been successful out there for a long while. and you’re trying to call her a new face/new to the radar? One would hope Models.com would have a more finely-tuned radar than that.

Also, must say, so TIRED of people commenting on models being too skinny. Models. Are. Skinny. End of story- get behind it or GTFO of here.

  • Mimi

She was born to be a model.

  • Coco chanel

Absolutely stunning! She is going to be huge. I’ve seen her in Sephora, Gap, Ugg, dkny and most recently sports illustrated. I look forward to seeing much more of her. She will be the next big thing. Gorgeous.

  • Venessa Smith

I love her photos I’m an inspiring colored model and i find motivation in her photos seeing these stunning shots makes me more confident in myself to go out there and peruse my career as a model . thank you Jasmine

  • It’s true, she could work in different areas of modeling.

  • lu

she’s pretty but she’s not new. she has been around for a bit.

  • cd

    Jourdan is not light-skinned.
Besides, fashion has always loved extremes, regardless of race. Hence why eastern european women make up the bulk of white models.

  • I just auditioned for ANTM and they said im too short!! -__- is 5;6 too short to be a model?? and is there a supermodel that is 5;6?

  • A model can work extensively in their home market and still be considered a new face. MDC caters to an international audience. Jasmine just turned 20. She’s only worked in the US. Ellen von Unwerth loves her. The rest of the world awaits. Arizona Muse, Carola Remer, Kasia Wrobel, Fabiana Mayer, Monika Sawicka, Anais Pouliot, and countless other girls who are currently classified as new faces have been on one scene or another for years.

  • lovely!!

  • Jana

I just voted for her in the Sports Illustrated cover competition. Happy to see her here!

  • Lala

Beautiful girl! She looks either Ethiopian, Sudanese, or Somalian <3

  • mnerva

She’s brazilian, west indian, white and black. May be shorter than 5’9″ from what i remember but I guess it’s working for her …Vouge, Gap, Elli Tahari, She’s working it.

  • dia

screw all of you she freaking rocks your all just mad b/c shes black! black is beautiful! and are gonnna take over okay!! she is tall i bet if she was standing next to you youd be a goddamn shrimp not all models need to be 5’11 doesnt make them any better or any more of a model!

  • I can see why SI booked her, she’s appealing.

  • jocelyn

Jasmine is a great model and has an excellent personality… I mean look at the recent jobs and campaigns she has booked… I don’t think anyone needs to justify her as a model! She is definitely 5’9 and you really don’t have to be 5’9 to be a great model… I mean Kate Moss….

  • Wow

Nice Photo’s I really like them
