— How did you become a model?
Ever since I was little, I’ve dreamed of becoming a model. I even have a video from when I was 5 years old, trying to walk the catwalk. So many people, even strangers who saw me, told me that I had the potential to become a model. My boyfriend, my closest friends, and my parents encouraged me to apply. So, I took matters into my own hands, looked for professional agencies in my area, and applied when I was 17. It worked out right away, and I was accepted.

— Tell us about your hometown.
My hometown is Changchun in Northeast China. Its best aspects are that it’s a major automotive industry base in China, the educational hub of Jilin Province, and one of China’s four major garden cities, with a greening rate ranking among the top large cities in Asia. Its worst aspects are its employment difficulties caused by insufficient economic vitality and the long and harsh winters.

— If you were to choose a song that symbolizes this current phase of your life, what would it be and why?
“Hall of Fame” by The Script and will.i.am. The core of the song is inspiration and motivation, encouraging listeners to pursue their dreams, overcome difficulties, and believe that they can become “Hall of Famers” in their respective fields, regardless of how big or small their goals are. This perfectly mirrors my current striving state: it celebrates perseverance and phased achievements, highly aligning with my pursuit of accomplishment and recognition.

— How did you become a model?
This summer, I participated in a local modelling competition where a modeling agency spotted my potential and signed me. This unexpected experience also marked the exciting start of my journey in the fashion industry.
