— How did you become a model?
As a child, I was pretty sure that modeling was not for me due to low self-esteem. I even made a bet with my dad about it. He said that I would have a perfect predisposition to become a model in the future. At the age of 16, I really changed my mind and started dreaming about being a model. Finally, I sent an application. Although my dad is not with us anymore (because of cancer, he died while I was 14), I know he was right at this point, and the agency accepted me :)
— What is your biggest irrational fear?
I will miss my plane in a foreign country and NEVER return home.
— What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
One of the things I used to do every day is gua sha. It makes me feel better but takes only a few minutes.

— What are 3 interesting facts about you?
1. While many people know me as a model, I also design and sew my own clothes. With a background in fashion design, I have a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and creativity that extends beyond the camera.
2. From sketching and painting to developing my own film photography, I love exploring different artistic mediums. Creativity has always been a driving force in my life, shaping the way I see and interpret the world. Modeling isn’t just about looking good; it’s about embodying a vision, and my artistic background helps me bring that vision to life.
3. I love watching and analyzing films. Whether it’s cinematography, costume design, or storytelling, I appreciate the artistry that goes into filmmaking and how it shapes culture and emotion.
— Tell us about your hometown.
I initially grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, and I absolutely loved it there. I had so many friends, and some of them even had an alpaca as a pet! I had an in-ground pool in my backyard, which was a dream. But despite all the beauty and the friendships, I always had this longing to move to the U.S. Once we finally made the move, it was a big adjustment. I struggled to fit in and often felt like I was on the outskirts of my peers like I didn’t quite belong. It was a difficult transition, but it taught me a lot about resilience and finding my own space in new places.
— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
One story my family and friends love to tell about me is when I sewed my boyfriend a quilt for Christmas. I had never sewn a quilt before, but I wanted to make something special for him. I spent 12 hours straight sewing it together while I was working over 50 hours that week and only had one free day before Christmas. The dedication I put into it made the quilt his most prized possession. It’s still the most special gift he’s ever received, and everyone always talks about how much thought and care went into it.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I’m currently a second-year Bachelor’s student in International Economics and Finance at Bocconi University in Milan. Coming from a family where both of my grandparents are scholars, I’ve always been driven to excel academically. Whether through international exchanges, competing in olympiads, or graduating with the highest honors from one of Bulgaria’s most prestigious high schools, I’ve consistently pushed myself to achieve. Beyond academics, I’ve done a banking internship at UniCredit, worked at an investment fund, and held a board position in a student association. You could say I’m trying to balance modeling with continuously developing my professional skills—or that I’m just trying a little too hard to become a full-fledged “finance bro.” Either way, I’m fine with it.
— The most interesting thing about your family:
Technically, I come from a mixed background–my mom is Chinese, and my dad is Bulgarian. But in reality, my father spent 20 years studying and working in China, so I sometimes joke around and say that he is more Chinese than Bulgarian. If you ever get to meet and know him, you’d probably agree, as the way he thinks and speaks makes it somewhat obvious.
— What are 3 interesting facts about you?
1. Back in middle school, I competed for a professional Clash Royale team. After thousands of hours, three broken phones, a few global rankings, and a lot of new friends, I eventually retired. These days, I still log in from time to time and play a couple of matches, but nothing like the obsession I once had.
2. I’m also convinced I was a fish in a past life—there’s nothing I love more than being surrounded by water. Whether it’s swimming, taking long baths, or just floating in the sea pretending to be dead, I find it incredibly relaxing.
3. And finally, something that might sound boring to some but makes me pretty proud—my personal stock portfolio. This year, it outperformed the U.S. market benchmark by 15%.

— If you were to choose a song that symbolizes this current phase of your life, what would it be and why?
I would say Knights by Crystal Castles. The words in it are intelligible but the beautiful beat drop makes the song for me. Years before modeling I would picture myself walking a runway to thing song. And then fact that I was able to edit a video of my walking my debut show to it is such a dream come true. I could never even imagine really being able to do it but now that I did it it doesn’t seem real.
— Tell us about your hometown.
My hometown is Miami, specifically El Portal; it’s a small neighborhood, and I’ve lived there all my life. I 1 love the scenery and all the vegetation. It looks like a jungle. I enjoy the weather. It’s so nice to go on a run, especially during sunset. It’s so gorgeous. I also love all the wildlife especially the birds. There are egrets, ibis, and peacocks, and they’re all so pretty. The only thing I don’t particularly like is the traffic. If I leave at the wrong time, I can sit in traffic for hours.
— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I’m a big comic book fan. I have hundreds, and I keep collecting. Some of my favorites are Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Robin Comics, Justice League, and Flash Comics. Other than reading them, I like to give them as gifts to people, too, because I hold them so dearly that if I give one to a loved one or friend, I really mean it.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
Last year, my brother, my dad, and I drove from Oslo, Norway, to Banjul, Gambia, in our 2006 Toyota Previa family car. Our goal was to get the car there in one piece, auction it, and donate the money to a local charity. While on the road, we took the train to the observatory on top of Jungfraujoch, watched the waves of Nazare, and drove next to the Iron Ore train in the desert of Mauritania. We successfully made the journey and left with incredible memories I’ll remember till the day I die.
— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
Books have always been an important part of my life and Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen is one of my standouts. She’s one of the few characters written as a complete human being, both loved and hated by readers even a hundred years later. Others still try to trap her in their own perception of her, but she’ll be forever defiant and unknown.
— What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?
Started advocating for myself and accommodating my autism. I was terrified it would push people away and limit my opportunities, but instead, it deepened my understanding of myself and helped me reach my goals at my own pace.

— If money wasn’t an obstacle, what would you be doing with your life?
I would be living by the sea in the countryside of Bahia and fishing.
