— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
That everyone can live as they want without being reduced to their looks, income, or attitudes towards life. Especially in the model business, dimensions still play a major role. As long as you’re comfortable in your body, size doesn’t matter.
— How did you become a model?
I was in Cape Town on holiday with my family and was approached there. Two months later I moved to Cape Town for a short time and that was the start as a model. Before that, I was scouted when I was 14 and 17, but I wanted to finish school then.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I love to hear music with a good rhythm. I listen to music to think about something but also when I’m cleaning. (When I’m in my comfort zone and listening to music, I often start dancing.)
2. I love to be organized. I write hundreds of to-do lists and I’m happy when I can tick off points. I also love sorting things out.
3. I like being on the road and getting to know new places and people, but I’m also happy when I’m back home and have my everyday life and my bed.

— What’s your most prized possession and why?
Probably my skateboard. I use skating to get away from any problems I have to deal with in life, often it’s the only way I manage to cope with things, and besides, I really have fun :)
— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
I am really trying hard to pollute less often. It takes an extra effort but I find it really important, we are trashing the earth and it has to stop.
— How did you become a model?
I got scouted quite randomly at the flea market in my hometown by my wonderful mother agent.

One morning, while I was in high-school my alarm didn’t go off. I had to be ready to catch my school bus in 15 minutes. In the rush, I forgot to put on my shoes and spent my day in slippers at high school.
— The most interesting thing about your family:
One weekend a month, with my family, we all get together and organize a board game tournament. The one who has the most points wins a reward, and the one who has the least points has a challenge like cooking dinner, doing all the dishes…

I admire my dad, he is very disciplined, always does his best regardless of anything, is hardworking and teaches me to be independent and focused on what I want for my life.
