I am meticulous and like everything to be in order. Especially in my room.

— If you were to choose a song that symbolizes this current phase of your life, what would it be and why?
Feeling Good Today – IngaRose. I think the title says it all :) I try to see everyday life from a positive perspective, treat people with respect, and accept them for who they are. This song symbolizes my life right now because I’m in a good place, focusing on the positive and looking forward to the future.

Where:
Modelwerk (Hamburg – mother agency), Monster Management Paris, Monster Management (Milan), Twelve Mgmt (London), Monster Management Spain (Madrid)

— How did you become a model?
The reason I wanted to become a model is that I have always been interested in fashion. When some friends suggested that I apply to a modeling agency, I was initially a little unsure. In the end, though, I was simply much more curious and wanted to give it a try.

— Tell us about your hometown.
I come from a rather rural area near Stuttgart. Although it could be a little boring from time to time and there wasn’t enough going on for a teenager, I always appreciated being close to nature and the peace and quiet.

— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
My favorite book at the moment is Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse, probably because it explores the inner conflict of human nature and personality in a particularly interesting way.

1. I stand on nails every day.
2. I don’t use transport, I walk almost everywhere.
3. I love ice, literally ice cubes. Sometimes I buy a drink at a café just to crunch the ice instead of actually drinking the drink.

— The most interesting thing about your family:
We’ve always had hamsters in our family. We’ve had so many of them since I was a kid, and now we have one named Pirate.

— How did you become a model?
While scrolling through TikTok, I came across a video about how to become a model. I didn’t take it seriously at all; I was mostly doing it just for fun. I took some snaps, then went on Instagram, found agencies in my country, and started filling out applications. I was honestly shocked when they actually started replying to me. I couldn’t believe that I could really become a model.

Victory

Victory (Vic) Nijstad — @victorynijstad — Dutch/Nigerian from Leeuwarden, The Netherlands — born April 1st — 178 cm / 5’10” — she/her.

Where:
Goska Management (Hamburg – mother agency), The Road Models (Madrid)

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
My family always loves to remind me how much I used to talk as a kid. My mom has a hair salon, and I spent a lot of time there growing up. Apparently, I would sit on the customers’ laps and talk their ears off, as if I had known them forever.

— How did you become a model?
I was scouted on TikTok by a model scout, who encouraged me to give modeling a try and put me in contact with agencies. I never expected it to happen, but I decided to go for it, and that’s how my modeling journey started!

— Share a bit about your background and upbringing.
I’m half Dutch and half Nigerian, and I grew up in the Netherlands. My mom always made sure that we were also brought up with the Nigerian side of our family. At home, we had a mix of Dutch and Nigerian food, traditions, and family habits. So I’ve always had a bit of both at home, which I think is a nice way to grow up.
