— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
The stories my family members like to tell about me are that, when I was little, I had the habit of asking for a lot of food and then I’d end up with a full belly, walking around looking like a pregnant woman.
— Share a bit about your background and upbringing.
I was born and raised in a close-knit family where we always supported each other, even though we didn’t have an easy childhood. We grew up with limited resources and an absent father, but those challenges taught me resilience and the importance of staying united. My upbringing shaped me into someone strong, empathetic, and determined to make the most out of every opportunity.
— Can you tell us about your happiest childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was when my mother was lying on the living room rug, listening to George Michael’s “Careless Whisper. ” I was lying next to her, not knowing the lyrics of the song, but I knew that in that moment, she was thinking about my father, and that the song was about him.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I am a mother to three bright and strong girls.
2. I started modeling & acting at age 48 after having been a yoga teacher for 20 years.
3. I am a self-portrait artist, writer and perfomer. My instagram account, christineprice.creative is an ever- expanding collection of photographs created by me as photographer, model , stylist & creative director. All the images are taken on my phone in the small corners of my apartment, all props and clothing from my own wardrobe and surroundings (often including my children’s toys & everyday household items). Many of the images are paired with my writing; short fictional stories of the character I have created. My art is one big YES to the full spectrum of the human experience in all our contradictions and a visual homage to the multitudes we contain.
— What advice would you give to models who are considering entering the modeling industry later in life? Are there any key lessons or insights you wish you had known earlier in your career?
GO FOR IT! Well, I am still very early in my career so the lessons and insights keep coming (as they do). When you’re older, some people assume you know what you’re doing when in fact, it may be all new to you. Ask questions. A lot of people assumed I’d modeled when I was younger but it was all brand new; the terminology, the business of it; the movement; the medium. On a shoot, ask for music if it helps you drop in and feel more at ease. It may not always be an option but in my (albeit limited) experience, it is usually welcomed. The right music can not only put you at ease but it can also help support the mood of the shoot; the overall vibe of the clothes and your embodiment from moment to moment. Trust yourself. You bring a breadth of life experience with you; you know your grace and your grit; your playfulness and your power; the courage at your core. Play. Dare. LIVE.
— What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
Scent. I am a lover of fragrance and never go a day without it.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I am a very nerdy preson. In social settings I tend to get unserious and jolly so people don’t really think of me as a smart person, rather some kind of an “entertainer type” . I show my nerdy side when someone starts talking about a topic I like. There’s a lot of such topics tbh. From that point on I won’t shut my mouth.
— How did you become a model?
I was at my friend’s birthday concert/party. They are musicians. A lot of people from across the country showed up because there was a pretty solid digicore/alt underground rap scene in Slovakia, a lot of people were connected through music. One of my mutuals was a little drunk and started screaming something about how good-looking I am and that I should be a model. She took a picture of me and sent it into Instagram DMs of EXIT m.m. and Elite m.m. with a message “fight for him” . EXIT responded first so I went to their casting and became a model.
— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
I really love everything relating to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. & Metro franchise. All of the books, movie adaptations (especially Tarkovsky and his other work) and videogames. I always liked atmospheric/melancholic post- apocalyptic enviroments.

— Can you tell us about your happiest childhood memory?
My childhood is filled with warm and cherished memories. Still, the one that stands out most vividly is the simple yet meaningful ritual my dad and I shared—after school, he would take me to the egg cake stand just outside the school gates, and together we would stroll home, the sweet scent of the cakes lingering in the air and our quiet conversations making those moments unforgettable.
— If you were to choose a song that symbolizes this current phase of your life, what would it be and why?
I will choose Odyssey by the K-pop group RIIZE, as I feel like I’m at the beginning of my life journey. Everything around me is constantly changing, and new challenges keep emerging. Through these challenges, I hope to discover different sides of myself and grow with every step I take.
— How did you become a model?
It all started when a photographer on Instagram discovered me and invited me to do a photoshoot. That experience gradually opened the door to a variety of different styles, and I realized that being a model allows me to explore and rediscover new sides of myself constantly. That’s when I decided to pursue this path seriously.

— What’s one non-physical thing you’d like to change about yourself?
I’d like to be a bit less loud when I need to be quiet, and a bit less shy when I need to speak up.
— Can you tell us about your happiest childhood memory?
When I was a little boy (and still today), I waited all year long for my city’s annual celebration—a five-day party for everyone that includes music, giant figures carried by people, and traditional folklore dances. I think back to those days when I was an innocent kid, with tears of joy welling up whenever Les Santes were just around the corner.
— If you were to choose a song that symbolizes this current phase of your life, what would it be and why?
“Els guapos són els raros” by Manel – I could argue that this is the song that best fits my current life situation. Long story short, it’s a critique of beauty standards, suggesting that being attractive is really about being different or unique. The literal translation of the title is “The handsome ones are the rare ” ones.
