— What national/international event had the most impact on your life?
In 2016 when Kylie Jenner released her first set of lipsticks. I literally obsessed over them and would not get over wanting them. My mom finally caved and got me one. It’s safe to say I did not stop posting with the lip kit for a week straight. A huge cultural moment for me, ahahaha.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
One time, I was running late for school and accidentally took my dog’s anxiety medication, thinking it was my probiotics. I ended up passed out on my couch, scared I was dying of a heart attack. Thankfully, I figured out what happened and felt completely fine the next day. It is always a story my family, friends, and I can have a good laugh over.

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
A cause I am passionate about is women’s rights to high-quality, affordable healthcare. Women’s bodies should not be a political topic, and politicians should have no say over the choices women decide to make about their bodies. With the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade, it is more important than ever that people become educated on women’s healthcare and fight for a positive change in the current restrictive laws surrounding the topic.

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
I love to collect antique egg-shaped trinket boxes. Currently, my collection rests at 27 eggs, and I do not plan on stopping!

— Tell us about your hometown.
Koblenz is a small town in western Germany close to Cologne and Düsseldorf. The best part is to see my parents and best friends when I’m there. The worst thing is that your hometown sometimes can feel like a golden cage, meaning nothing is new and it feels like time is standing still.

— What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
To create the best possible outfit for the day. Worst feeling when I’m not comfortable with what I wear.

— Tell us about your hometown.
Rotterdam. I love the city. I live right in the heart of downtown, so there’s always liveliness. What I don’t like is that I’m now paying almost 8 euros for my daily coffee. Life in the city isn’t cheap, unfortunately, haha.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I am a wedding videographer. So, I know well what it’s like to be both in front of and behind the camera.
2. I am left-handed.
3. I much prefer walking over cycling, despite being Dutch, haha.

— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
One story my family and friends often enjoy sharing about me is the time when I was a child and attempted to cook a meal for everyone. Excited about my newfound interest in cooking, I decided to surprise them by making dinner all by myself. However, things didn’t quite go as planned, and the result was a rather interesting culinary experiment. Despite my best efforts, the dish ended up being nearly inedible, but my family and friends still fondly remember the laughter and the bonding experience we shared over that memorable meal. It’s a story that always brings a smile to our faces and reminds us of the joy of spending time together.
