— What is something you wish you knew more about?
Space. I had a pretty long ‘I want to be an astronaut’ phase and a lot of the fascination has definitely stuck with me. As humans, we think we know so much and I love the idea of something that is so unexplored and undiscovered.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I can speak fluent Welsh.
2. Me and my family swim in the sea every Christmas day.
3. I’m terrified of cows.

— Who is your favourite entertainer?
I discovered First Aid Kit, a Swedish folk band, in a record shop with my sister back in 2010 and have been utterly obsessed ever since. They harmonise like no one I have ever come across, it’s so incredibly beautiful. Me and my sister are both singers and we spend hours singing along with them and creating our own recordings. They’re always the top of my Spotify Wrapped!

— Your most embarrassing moment:
One of my most embarrassing moments would be when I broke my arm while breaking boards for my final black belt test in tae-kwon-do. I chose way too big of a stack and paid the price for the whole summer.

I am incredibly passionate about the environment and housing inequality. This is why I am getting my undergrad in Environmental Studies and Green Building and Community Design.

— Who is your favorite entertainer?
I always struggle with picking just one musician because I love so many types of music, but I think my favorite artist purely as a person would have to be Genesis P-Orridge. Not only did they change music forever through their work on Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, they also helped set the stage for an androgynous lifestyle in an incredibly masculine industry.
