— What are three interesting things about you?
1. I was a reporter for Logo!, a very well known German TV show for children.
2. I’ve been in a drama class for several years now and it’s so much fun. I would love to do that professionally or more often at least.
3. I am very ambitious and don’t ever give up!
— Among your friends or family, what are you famous for?
They’d definitely say that I am determined and ambitious, that I have a great sense of orientation, that I am independent but also creative and funny (I hope!).
— What is something you wish you knew more about?
There is no such thing as being omniscient so it would definitely be helpful to be fluent in many more languages. I love to travel so being able to just go somewhere and talk with the people who live there would be a dream come true!

— How and when did you become a model?
I was working at a pastry shop in Lower Manhattan and Daniel Peddle gave me his card I think three, maybe four times over a few years! I finally googled him and called him back. That was in late January and a few days later I was walking the runway for Rag & Bone and working for 3.1 Phillip Lim. It happened really fast. I still can’t believe it!
— The best and worst aspects of your personality?
I’m a very generous person! That is is the best part. The worst is I am really shy which is maybe why it took me so long to call Daniel back.
— What are three interesting facts about you?
I’m half Malian and half Senegalese but I was born in Harlem. And yes my legal name really is Hella Tall. I fish religiously in all the waters in and around NYC. It’s not your average hobby. I mean I fish several times a week!
