Megan

Who:

Megan Hui-Li Otnes, 177 cm / 5’9.5″, American, born July 7th.

We Asked:

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you?

When I was around 13 years old, my sister and I had a YouTube channel where we made stop motion animation videos. We surprisingly gained a bit of fame from the videos we made. We got 9.8 million views total on our videos and gained 35k subscribers. (The channel name will remain a secret for now because only my closest friends know about this ;))

— The most interesting thing about your family?

My sister and I always wanted a pet when we were young, and most of the time my parents would say it’s not practical or ask us who’s going to take care of it? So eventually when we were in middle school, my mom agreed on getting pet chickens, because they were as practical of a pet as you could get. (My sister and I immediately stopped eating chicken at that point, since we had given names to all 5 of our fluffy little chicks).

— What are three interesting facts about you?

1. I’m also a photographer and illustrator when I’m not modeling.
2. I’m a twin.
3. I love to customize my clothing.

Gabriel

Who:

Gabriel Meinerz, 184 cm / 6’0.5″, Brazilian, born May 26th.

We Asked:

— Who is your favorite entertainer?

Will Smith and Toni Mahfud. I like their backgrounds and the story how they got famous.

— What are three interesting facts about you?

First: I have a YouTube-Chanel with 200,000 followers. At the moment I am not producing any videos because of some issues in my life, but I really loved what I have done!
Second: I am 19 years old and something that happens every day and will probably never stop, is that people are really impressed by my eyes (since now nobody ever was shocked). However, I had to deal with some bullying during my childhood. I started not to like my eyes to the point that I used contact lenses to look “normal”. But in 2017 I started to understand that I am unique and that my “defect” makes me beautiful. Now I really like my eyes and their strangeness. I started to ignore the bullies and I accept me, even if I am still not 100% comfortable with people staring at me and my eyes ?
Last fact: For me, acai and coconut water are the best things on earth. Love it!

— How and when did you become a model?
