— What is an issue or cause you are passionate about?

Mental health and bullying because I think it’s really important to talk about it and always try to find the solution because people often feel like they are alone and can’t do anything.

— What is one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?

They are always surprised by my age and often think I’m younger than I am.

— What are three interesting facts about you?

I really like boxing it’s the best thing for stress. I like to travel. I’m into astrology.

Lyons Blum, 188 cm / 6’2″, American, born July 23rd.

We Asked:

— What is an issue or cause you are passionate about?

I really care about reducing plastic waste. Research shows that plastic bags and Styrofoam containers can take thousands of years to decompose. Plastic contaminates our soil and water with toxic chemicals, and sea turtles and dolphins for example often mistake plastic bags for food. I am encouraged that the plastic-free movement is gaining international attention and already alternatives to plastic are being used, but we still have a way to go.

— What is one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?

I took ballet lessons in high school, which I wasn’t great at, but I really enjoyed it.

— What are you interested in that most people haven’t heard of?

I ran cross country in high school, and I still love running. But I’m also a naturally curious person, so I’m always interested in learning new things and exploring new places. Right now, I’m trying to get better on the guitar.
