We Asked:

What’s the most interesting thing about your family? Do you have siblings?
“My whole family is from Russia, but me and my one year older brother were born in Germany. So we’re speaking at home a very weird German-Russian mix.”

What have you learned since you started modelling?
“Oh, I learned so much from modeling, especially from my first fashion week in Milan! At the very beginning when I started modeling, I had very low self-esteem because I was always comparing myself to other perfect models, so I focused very hard on my blemishes. But while I was in Milan, running to all the castings, I noticed that it is so stupid to compare myself to others, because if I would look like them, I wouldn’t be “special” anymore and everything would be boring. But the clients wanted me because of my “blemishes”, which helps me very much to stay positive. And when I started to think positive, some positive things happened to me, like I got confirmed for the Giorgio Armani Show! But one thing I also learned very much from modeling, is to speak the English language, which doesn’t just help me to communicate with people from all over the world, it also helps me very much in school, haha.”

Who is someone you admire and why?
“I admire the Dutch Victoria’s Secret Angel Romee Strijd because she was working so hard to become a VS model, which motivates me to also work hard :-) Furthermore she eats very healthy and clean, and I like her style a lot, which inspires me. But honestly, I admire all women, who are always working hard to reach their goals, without letting anybody or anything to skip it.”
