How and when did you become a model?
“I was scouted at Sephora at the mall when I was 15. I had braces at the time, and modeling was totally new to me. Being a model here in Midwest is almost very un-Midwestern. It’s nearly unheard of!”
What is one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
“I’m an extreme tomboy—I love sports, and I have a very laid back style. I don’t like wearing pink!”
What are your interests/favorite things?
“In school, English is my favorite subject. Writing essays is a fun thing for me, which is a weird thing to say, but it’s true. I love writing. It’s only warm a few months out of the year in Minnesota, so this time of year is the best. In the summer, my friends and I like going to the pool. In the winter, we try to escape to California as often as possible!”

Jordan Alexander, 188 cm / 6’2″, Canadian, born May 5th.
We Asked:
What’s the most interesting thing about your family? Do you have siblings?
“I think it’s really cool that my family has mixed roots from all over the world. My parents were born in Guyana, and my Mom’s side of the family can be traced back to China and England whereas my Dad’s is Portuguese and Native South American. So much diversity in one family means amazing family dinners – so much variety! I have one older sister and we are really close :)”
What have you learned since you started modelling?
“Since I started modelling I’ve learned a lot about the fashion industry as a whole. It’s interesting to be part of the creative process, from doing e-comm or seeing what it takes to put a look book together or an entire fashion show from start to finish. I didn’t even have that much knowledge about different brands before modelling but now I’ve expanded my wardrobe a bit and even my style has changed. I love checking out vintage shops looking for unique pieces!”
How and when did you become a model?
“I was scouted by my mother agency, Elite Toronto, while walking in Toronto Men’s Fashion Week in late 2016. My sister had suggested I give modelling a shot and when the opportunity came I took it. The rest fell into place and I’m very grateful for the way things have worked out for me so far!”
