I am actually quite a mix. My dad is from Afganistan , he is persian. And my mom is from Yakutia (Far East of Russia), a very cold place where it reaches -50 in the winter time.

Birthsign:
Virgo

How discovered:
I was 15 years old when I started modelling. I had seen an advertisement in a newspaper saying that this agency was searching for models, I called them and made myself an appointment and the rest is history. After that things started moving very fast.

What was your first modeling job?
My first modelling trip was to South Korea when I was 16. It was there I shot my first campaign, I was just so happy to be on set, the shoot ended up being particularly long, I think around 10 hours but I had so much adrenaline from the excitement that I wasn’t even tired. After the shoot I went to my first proper party, good times!

Favorite things:
My iphone case which looks like a bottle with “Boys Tears” written on it.

What are you listening to at the moment?
Beach House helps me to keep my mind and calm peaceful. Their song “Myth” is my fav at the moment.

Favorite movie, tv show:
I prefer watching documentaries. “Cosmos” on Netflix is so much fun.

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
Thermal water saves me even after 40 hours flights. Moisturising myself makes me happy.

What were you doing before modeling?
I was just a normal school girl. I had small summer job and when I got my first $5 I was on the top of the world. I did not expect much from life. Now my ambitions have changed but I still feel so grateful for this life.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
I actually always wanted to become an interpreter as I really enjoy languages so it would probably be pursuing that. I am really lucky that modeling gave me chance learning not only english, but chinese as well. I spent half a year in Taiwan studying languages. After modeling I would love to settle down, have 3 kids, big house and a cow. Simple life.

What’s something uncool that you love anyway?
I am into dancing awkwardly to Drake songs. Who isn’t.

Favorite modeling experience so far?
Working with Elle Canada was quite an amazing experience. It was on the beautiful ocean island of Saint Lucia. I had quite bad jet lag and ended up falling asleep on the bench during the lunch break. I was so tired but still enjoyed my days working with such a great team. When I finally saw myself on that cover it was surreal and I felt immensely proud.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
I miss Russian insta noodles, they are the best.

Which brand would you really love to model for?
There is always the dream of working as a VS model. It gives me motivation to hit the gym and stay in shape ;)

Place you would love to visit:
Bali for a month. When you are in fashion , you will understand me . All of us need a break and Bali sounds like the best place to chill

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
I am into not being so harsh on myself, hang out with right people and explore the world.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Don’t mess up every new day with yesterday.
