A remarkable advocate for change, Mary grew up in Kakuma refugee camp, where she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by vulnerable communities. Determined to make a difference, she founded the Ukech Charity Foundation, an organization dedicated to uplifting schoolchildren, individuals with disabilities, teen moms, single moms, and others in need within the camp and beyond.

Through her foundation, Mary has become a beacon of hope, creating opportunities and transforming lives through education and support programs.

When Mary isn’t working to empower others, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places, crocheting during her free time, and immersing herself in movies.

Driven by her vision, she dreams of expanding the foundation to help even more people, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion and service.
