Lameka Fox became a model almost overnight. After tagging a few photos as part of an Instagram casting call, she made her debut on the 2016 Marc Jacobs Resort runway. Before stepping onto the catwalk, Fox was a Maryland high school student who spent her free time training horses—a passion rooted in her upbringing.
Since her breakout, she has graced the runways of Burberry, Jacquemus, Miu Miu, Valentino, Sergio Hudson, and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She has fronted campaigns for Bobbi Brown, Brunello Cucinelli, David Yurman, Dior, NARS Cosmetics, Victoria’s Secret, and Zara, working with renowned photographers like Mario Sorrenti. Her editorial highlights include CR Fashion Book, Elle US, Harper’s Bazaar, Interview, The New York Times Style Magazine, V Magazine, Vogue Italia, Vogue Japan, Vogue Russia, W Magazine, and WSJ.
Beyond modeling, Fox is the founder and CEO of Vernell, an upcoming luxury beauty brand focused on on-the-go skincare solutions. A lifelong equestrian and music enthusiast, she also dedicates time to social advocacy, using her platform to raise awareness about minority community resources and mental health.
