Born in Paraí, a small town in Rio Grande do Sul with just over 7,000 inhabitants, Julia Bregalda was discovered in 2018 when she won JOY Management's The Look of The Year modelling competition in Brazil.

Since then, she has starred in editorials for publications such as Vogue, L'Officiel and Marie Claire, as well as doing jobs for Chloe, Giambattista Valli, Carolina Herrera, Dsquared2 and Ermanno Scervino.

At the age of 19, she made a name for herself at Bottega Veneta: the label's partnership with the Brazilian began under an exclusive contract for the Winter 2022 season - the same occasion when Matthieu Blazy made his debut as the label's creative director. The successful partnership was then extended for three consecutive seasons at the Milan fashion shows.

Before making a name for herself in fashion, Julia was a student taking ballet and IT courses.
