Born in the Czech Republic, Kurkova is best known as one of the faces of lingerie company Victoria's Secret. At the age of 15 she worked for Miuccia Prada. Her presence is strong both in the high end and commercial markets as she has been the face of brands such as Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, and Yves Saint Laurent and many others. Outside of modeling and acting, Kurkova is active in humanitarian work, promoting the welfare of children through several organizations.
