Z Zegna F/W 2012

Z Zegna / Fall/Winter 2012

The Z Zegna name has long been associated with a classic menswear sensibility. Men could always count on the line for those tried and true suits, perfect top coats and distinctively elegant accents, but being a reliable standard is never enough: a brand has to innovate in order to stay relevant in these ever changing times. In his first season at the house Brit designer Paul Surridge brings a fresh and sporty feel to the collection, with bomber jackets and windbreakers sharing space alongside precisely cut trenches and suiting. Moments of bold color, particularly mustard, copper and a shade of shocking violet we would have loved to see more of, set the stage for an inventive series of looks. The feel is younger, sharper and from the looks of the smart iPad cases carried by every other model, firmly entrenched in the 21st century.

I love how diverse casting is, one Black & one Asian and no White people…

  2. Eric Sanders says:

One black model, one Asian model…WOW Zegna! What a statement! Puh-lease. Just get with it.

  3. Interesting approach. Male model.

  4. dimekid says:

This is disgusting !! One Black model One Asian Common please …….. this one of the worst line up although they have been worst ….. no taste …. Diverse lol its sad … and all the white model look the damn same its a shame on the fashion industry

  5. John says:

As a previous employee of Zegna ( PR) I have to say I have given up on the idea of “male models”. These guys are straight up unattractive. The clothes are great

  6. whatever says:

you are so silly, these pictures about the guys are fastly made digitals and the goal is to identify them and the clothes and not to impress you or anyone else. Just check Simone Nobili(3) in Givenchy and Byblos campaign he doesnt look unattractive or Adrien Sahores(24) who is No.5th male model in the world with plenty of campaigns…they dont give these jobs to “unattractive”, ugly guys. think about it and dont judge from weak images 😉 cheers

  7. Facu MMM says:

I am agent, some very interesting and wonderful guys but not term to understand some profiles, some guys are not beautiful

  8. Lee Moore says:

I must say I have to agree with John 100 % such amazing and sharp clothing. However these male models don’t want to entice me purchase the clothes what happened to the ” GQ ” Man or should I say Classic. Modeling is about Beauty, Confidence and Appeal however these male models seem to look very homey. What about Sean O’Pry, Noah Mills, Simon Nessman, Taylor Fuchs, Ben Hill, Corey Baptiste, Mathias Bergh, Ryan Barrett, Adrian Bosch lets just. Make its appealing to what to buy the clothes and these guys are so Amazing.

  9. dimekid says:

Really so model deleted my comment because i express the racist approached .. well i will keep commenting until its removed .. all these white model and 1 black and 1 Asian the crap!! you need to changed your so -call creative mind frame ! Racist i tell you /

  10. dimekid says:

im really upset the need to move past these casting practice

  11. Karl says:

Well, I suppose some races are more attractive than others…

  12. John says:

Thank Lee Moore. Im not saying I have I am upset I have just come to terms with the fact that around 15% of working models are actually attractive. Its all about being in the right place at the right time with the right “story” ( art school punk who would have never dreamed of modeling but was scouted shopping for vintage records in London- no really..) . style is forever yet a homely face can last a few seasons. I hate to hijack the ZZegna thread. They are an amazing luxury brand that I had the pleasure to work with for some time. The oldest mens fashion house (101 years old) will continue to make beautiful clothing for a very long time.

  13. Vik says:

Im more georgeus than the 90% of this guys. bye

  14. Anonymous says:

Wow, it’s amazing how people can approach the beauty of unconventional female models, but not male models. This needs to change, everyone sees beauty in quirky odd looking females, but with male models, all they want/prefer is handsome looking models who are sexy and naturally “hot” with abs and muscles.

  15. Mike says:

12 guys look hotter then me and I’m 16 what does that tell you

  16. what is it about zegna that we all love it so much? (even though we’re girls)

  17. Erick says:

    I like that!

I´m a model of the Caribe of Colombia an i´m interesting in modeling for you.
